When I told my BFF I was going to make my dress to be mother of the groom, she was concerned that it would look homemade. I knew I had the skills to make a professionally sewn dress that didn't flaunt the loss of my waistline. I got the idea to class it up with applique and found this on Amazon. I'm posting because I am so grateful to those who posted pictures before me. They gave me ideas, courage, and confidence to create this dress in the bride-approved color. I'm short, so I cut the long "tail" off the applique to add it to the back.

This appliqué was more spectacular in person then pictured!! The colors were vibrant and the beads were sown onto a stretchy mesh that made tacking it to the garment easy. I used small scissors and a wood burner to cut around the excess lace for a more polished look. Highly recommend

This is very pretty. I am trying to figure out how to use it on a black dress. I am removing the items from the netting and going to hand sew on the dress. The sequins and sparkly things are very pretty. I highly recommend.Update: I used them on the dress and it was absolutely gorgeous. My daughter got lots of compliments. Hand sewing takes a lot of time and at the end, I ran out of time and glued some on. But, words cannot express how well the dress turned out with these beautiful sequins, beads, and sparkly things.

Used the appliqué to bedazzle my niece’s prom dress. She loves it

Be careful not to cut the thread or the stones will fall off. My suggestion is put a tad bit of glue on the backside of the fabric and once it’s dry, then it’s easier to section up the fabric with less mess/waste. I added the appliqué to a dress I bought on Amazon. I used E6000 glue, also found on Amazon. A little goes a long way.

This piece is stunning and it breaks my heart that I am having to return it. While it is absolutely beautiful, it is not the right shape for the gown it was ordered for and there isn't time for me to cut and place the applique where it will work. The quality of this piece is spectacular and it's not being returned due to anything related to it. I would absolutely order from this company again and give 5 stars without hesitation.

Overall worked well. Was smaller in size than I anticipated, I did not pay attention to measurements, not as much sparkle as I anticipated. I had it attached professionally, having minimum experience sewing, would not have been able to do myself - lots of mesh and threading that can unravel.
