This pot is much larger than those I have seen in other stores; e.g., Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart.... I like it better because of its size and the fact that I do not need to remove the inside pot in order to wet the orchid roots.

I looked all over for a large orchid pot and thought I would give this a try... You will not be disappointed!!!Pro tip: take your support sticks and prop them up and hot glue them to the bottom before filling with your planting medium and the orchid. This way is so much more sturdy and eliminates the frustration of constantly wiggling support sticks.

I gave this a 4 star only because it did not come with a separate lid for the bottom of the planter. I bought a separate one later from another vendor and it came with it. Everything else fits the description.

Great pot and much bigger than I thought it would be, which is great! Apparently I didn’t plant my orchid in the right potting mix or container when I re-potted it a couple of years ago, so no blooms at all since then. I’m hoping this pot and the orchid potting mix I’m using now will change all that. Time will tell.

Might try to paint the outside of the planter for better visual appeal, and need a Water catching base.

My orchids seem to be thriving in this pot. It’s a little bigger than I wanted but am happy with the purchase so far. Won’t know the effectiveness of the mesh net until the plants are bigger...

My orchid is much happier with this planter. The flower spike has been growing like crazy since I repotted. It is plastic so it isn’t overly sturdy but it doesn’t feel TOO cheap.

The inner pot is great for orchids. My orchid was so heavy and awkward the outer pot did not support it. I put the inner pot inside a heavier outer pot. Makes watering so much easier.
