...with 2 senior 9+yr old fur babies, putting them under for teeth cleaning was not an option. Both of them have only half their teeth left and the tartar (and smell) was too much to even sit next to them while watching tv. I have bathed, groomed and handled them for several years, so I believed they trust me enough to do their teeth too. This item arrived quickly(thanks Amazon) I nervously prepped the kitchen counter with paper towels and a small spray bottle of water. The cleaning tools are strong and useful. The unit is simple, easy to charge and strong. Joey (malti-terrier) went first and used the pointed tool to "floss" and clean in between. Then I used the tool....the tartar came off very slowly but steady--his was thin and less of it. The vibration and sound was not bad but you should talk to them and hold their jaw firmly but gently and use your fingers to keep their lips out of the way of each tooth. Sprayed water to rinse and watched how much better he looked!! Janey (malti-poo) had the worst teeth and breath...she was squirmy but settled in once she knew what I was doing. Her tartar was thicker so it came off in chunks JUST like in the video. Had to spray and rinse her mouth faster because she wanted to lick. Her teeth came out stunning and WAY less smell ! Note: it is much easier on the top row than the bottom and back due to not getting the correct angle. You need slight more pressure than you think, but once the tartar starts coming off you want to finish their whole mouth. But short sessions seem best. What an awesome tool !! Highly recommend! I was looking at a different brand that would have cost $100, and then I came across this one. I thought I'd give it a try, before I would have to take my dog to the dentist, And I'm so happy I did. I thought I would have to take it really slow, but my Pomeranian adjusted on the second day, I only worked on two of her teeth but, it took the tartar right off. If you're in the market for one of these, this is it, Just buy it.

I purchased this to clean the plaque and tarter from my 3 year old Sheltie. His upper canine teeth were getting heavy plaque and starting to inflame the gum tissue. Brushing wasn’t helping the issue and a food additive supposedly to keep his teeth from getting plaque build up wasn’t helping in this area. All his other teeth look nice but those canines were awful. When the “PET Electric tooth cleaner arrived I opened it and it indicated a full charge. I waited until after his dinner to try it. I used the lowest setting out of 5 settings and Jack was apprehensive about the whole thing but he took it like a champ and that plaque came right of in chunks. It was amazing how well it worked. Less than 10 minutes to do both teeth from start to stop. Maybe 2 minutes of actual cleaning. The intelligent tip truly works great. I’m happy that I purchased this ultrasonic cleaner. Jack will never have to have a vet put him under for dental cleanings.

I purchased the Nature Nerds Plaque Remover for Teeth, Pet kit because our senior, rescue dog had started to really build up tartar on his back teeth. He is a German shepherd, golden retriever mix, 13+/- years old. I acquainted my dog to the very low-level sound beforehand, and he tolerated the cleaning procedure very well in several, short sessions. He was rewarded intermittently, and I was able to get a lot of tartar off his teeth. Besides his visual tartar, my dog had an area of red, flabby, overgrown gum tissue above one of his upper molars. Due to his age, I was weary of general anesthesia to deal with it, I decided to try and clean his teeth myself, so I purchased this product. Once I started cleaning his teeth regularly and removing his tartar, that particular tissue growth at his gumline, that looked so unhealthy, actually started to heal and now looks like normal gum tissue. It was amazing to see his inflamed gum tissue resolve like that. A definite game-changer for my dog. His mouth is much healthier now because of this product. This plaque remover is lightweight but durable and easy to use, has adjustable speeds and really holds its charge. The light really helps you see the back teeth in your dog's mouth. The safety features make sure it only works on hard tooth structures. I'm very happy I made this purchase. I definitely recommend this product- 100%. The customer service is awesome also- I inadvertently lost the charging cable a few months after my purchase, they responded immediately and graciously sent a replacement. My dachshund is 9yrs old. She doesn't chew anything. She does catch and dig up rabbits. She had the dental procedure when she was 1. Her teeth have always been horrible. Her breath has been terrible all these years. I used this and was able to get 80% of her teeth clean in one cleaning. Her teeth were brown black and yellow. Real thick. Bad breath you can smell with her mouth closed or when she barked. I was getting ready to schedule another expensive procedure at the vet. This tool saved my pockets and having to put my girl under anesthesia. On the strongest setting I was able to get all of her teeth cleaned on the outer side. She did have a little bleeding which the instructions explained to be normal. Im really shocked it was able to get off 8yrs of build up. I will finish the inner side of her teeth another day since it does take a while and she needed a break. Her breath was instantly better. No more bad breath. Knocked one star because you have to make sure you're holding the tool at the perfect angle for it to work properly. I like the safety feature that it doesn't work on the gums. Only the tooth itself or else it will stop. I highly recommend even for senior dogs with years of buildup.

This is a great tool if you know how to use it. I bought this tool to use on my 4 year old Rottweiler and while I think the idea is great, this does not replace a good ole dental cleaning with their vet. As for the tool itself: 1. BATTERY LIFE: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5! I use it regularly and have only had to charge it once in the last few months! 2. BRUSH ACCESSORIES: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5/5 The available accessories that come with the tool is astounding and great for dental cleaning and maintenance. 3. SIZE: ⭐️⭐️ 2/5 the attachments to the tool are fine in size. However, the tool itself is quite large and makes it difficult to get in the back of the dog’s teeth. My dog is relatively good with me touching her mouth but if this were a smaller, less pleasant dog to work with, this tool would be more of an inconvenience to use. 4. EASE OF USE: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5! This tool is fairly easy to use but is difficult if your pup does not sit still or has a small mouth. The settings are easy to change and fairly straightforward. 5. TASTE: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5: Prior to using this on my dog, I used it on myself to make sure the vibration was tolerable and would not hurt her. This tool does not have a taste. My dog does not seem to mind the taste of the tool. I generally bribe her with peanut butter beforehand so I’m not sure she’d notice anyways. 6. SOUND WHEN TURNED ON: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5! This is not an entirely silent tool but is very quiet and gets the job done! 7. SAFETY: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5: without any experience or guidance on proper use, this tool can be tricky to use. I do enjoy how the vibration turns off if it comes in contact with the gums. It gives me peace of mind because the last thing I want to do is hurt my dog! Overall, this product is ok but I don’t think I’d buy it again. I can see how it can be good but it is not a necessity and didn’t do anything major for my dogs teeth.

My two dogs were raised by elderly parents for many years and never had their teeth brushed, so they had over a decade of heavy tartar buildup. They showed pain even when touched, so I thought this product might not work—but since they’re seniors and anesthesia for scaling could be risky, I tried it. I started on the lowest mode and increased gradually as they adjusted. Personally, my teeth hurt badly if the roots are touched, but my dogs didn’t even flinch and patiently tolerated it. The device makes a soft dental-drill sound and begins removing tartar. It shuts off after 10 minutes, but when restarted, the battery lasts for hours. Old tartar on molars softened into a thick white paste first, then small chunks came off, revealing clean enamel underneath. Other teeth cleaned easily and looked like puppy teeth again. Afterward, I let them drink water, then took them for a walk and gave treats to relieve stress. Highly recommended.

My 9 year old dog had really bad plaque build up. I paid for a professional cleaning but the vet said she needed another. I really couldn’t afford to bring her for another cleaning. I bought all kinds of teeth cleaners. This tops them all. At first my dog wasn’t too sure about the tool, so I did short sessions and worked on her front teeth. Each time, I finish with a quick brush with tooth gel. After a few tries she just lays on on lap and lets me work on her teeth. It blasts away the plaque. I use the hook shaped scraper to get the smaller bits away from her gums. We just went back to the vet and he was amazed. He said her gingivitis was gone and her teeth looked great. I do have to say I read a lot of reviews. Go easy and go back and forth between the ultra sonic and the manual scrapper. I do stop once the gums start to bleed. After 2 weeks working around her mouth, I got all her teeth and they looked great. Now I will just use it for maintenance and try to not let them get so built up. I wish I took before and after pictures. There were large chunks of plaque falling off her teeth that I was able to just scrape away and put on a paper towel. Her gums hardly bleed now when I brush her teeth. I still use the fresh breath tooth gel. Oh and her breath is so much better too. My dog is not a chewer, so I will have to check weekly to keep her teeth from build up. This was a great purchase. It charges pretty quickly. I saved my dogs teeth and big $$$ on a vet cleaning!!!!

The vet said my old dog was close to needing her teeth scaled. But she didn't do well after her last anaesthetic to the point we thought we would lose her. She has always tolerated a brush well and tolerates this scaler. I worked slowly and did a tooth at a time to give her break. Her teeth look fantastic. It is very easy to use and it has even removed the hard calculus on back teeth. So happy with this product as it's saved her a tricky vet visit. At aged 14 this is worth it's money to have her healthy.

Excelente opción!!! Mi perrita es paciente cardiopata y renal, así que no la podían anestesiar para limpiarle sus dientes. De hecho le quitaron varios porque ya los tenía muy llenos de sarro. Vi el anuncio y me pareció una buena opción para cuidarle los que le restaban. Lo compré y funcionó de maravilla. Le quitó el sarro tan viejo que ya tenía en sus dientitos. Ella al ser sorda ya no oye el sonido, pero mi otro perro sí lo oye y se impacienta más. Aún así, recomendable el artículo.

Funciona muy bien. 12 años no le limpie los dientes a mi perrito y tiene muchísimo sarro. Con paciencia logré sacarle unas cuantas piedras de los dientes
