These sauces didn’t last long in our house at all, they were very good !

Set of three flavoursome BBQ ready hot sauces which all go down easily for those with a milder palate.My favourite of the three sauces on offer here is the Chipotle, which has a delicious flavour profile that really brings out the smokiness of the chipotle pepper without being too sweet. Garlic and umami flavours come through to make this a really well rounded sauce which reminds me of my own personal chilli con carne recipe. Very impressed.The Bourbon BBQ is majorly dosed with sugar, which for me makes it a BBQ sauce before it's a pepper sauce, but I'm no snob, and really enjoyed the sweet apple smoked flavour with a nice bourbon chilli kick coming at the back end.The one I was most looking forward to trying was the Cayenne. It has that familiar kick and thin vinegar heavy consistency, with only the bare minimum of ingredients. As a stripped down everyday hot sauce, it's good, but does not differentiate itself much from other classic Cayenne based sauces. Still highly enjoyable, if not mind blowing.Overall, a well picked set for the BBQ fan that likes a little heat. Not going to impress purists, but a safe buy for any casual chilli sauce fan, and a good intro to Hot Headz sauces.

With a Dad who doesn't need anything I struggle to get gifts, but this is right up his street. I particularly like the interesting flavours, and fact that the sauces are so versatile in how you can use them. The set looks great in style and came with about 15 months expiry date which is really good. At £15 for the three sauces I feel it's very good value, particularly for a niche brand and presented as a gift set. Ideally for the hot headed person you need to buy for!
