I've been a fan of UAG products since the days of the HTC One M8 (however many years ago that was), so I jumped at the chance to order this lanyard. Its design is unmistakably UAG, which means it looks as rugged and cool as a lanyard possibly can -- but importantly, it also works well.Of late, there seems to have been an explosion of crossbody phone lanyards on Amazon, but a lot of them (although often cheaper) are undesirable for a number of reasons: too flashy/glittery/cute, plastic and/or bulky hardware, etc. The UAG does it right: rugged/cool look (and function) achieved in a subtle way, low-profile, all-metal hardware with tastefully-done, barely-noticeable UAG branding throughout, and fast length adjustments with no "tail" that hangs out when adjusted shorter than its maximum length like some other designs.I have a couple of camera-style phone grips that are great for ergonomics and comfort when taking a lot of pictures, but the added bulk makes it impractical or impossible to take the phone in/out of a pocket between shots; it doesn't make much sense to dedicate an actual camera strap for use with this setup, so I wanted to try the UAG Crossbody Lanyard for this application, and it works great -- worn cross-body and adjusted to its maximum length, my phone/grip combo hangs at the perfect level for my hand to reach down and grab it or set it down easily. Of course, the lanyard works equally-well if I skip the grip and use it as intended with the supplied "lanyard pad" (phone case insert).I also thought this would make a nice neck (not crossbody) lanyard for a work name/access badge, but our luck may vary by person for this application. At its shortest length, the lanyard holds my badge at my preferred height and looks really good, but I find that it makes my neck itch within a few minutes (I'll note that I do not have "sensitive skin"). It doesn't cause any visible rash/irritation, but it just gets uncomfortable, which for me, would limit its use with a badge to collar shirts only. To be fair, skin irritation is a non-issue when used in the advertised crossbody configuration, but for the price, I don't think its unreasonable to expect an itch-free lanyard.I concede that some people may be able to wear this lanyard around their neck without issue, but given my own experience, I cannot recommend it for that use (unless you're wearing a collar shirt). However, for crossbody use, it makes a great phone companion for anyone seeking a lanyard that looks adult-appropriate with a hint of UAG ruggedness.

I had no idea I wanted this thing until I had it. I decided to pick it up for a trip to Italy, and I have to say I was very impressed when I was using it. It's a nice thick strap that feels very sturdy and good around the neck. It held my phone without any issue in my slim OtterBox case. It was definitely long enough for me to take pictures as I pleased. I never really had to remove it from my neck to take good pictures, although I saw some people saying they had to in their reviews. Maybe they have long arms or something, but, you know, I'm typical size. So, I don't know what their issue was, to be honest. At any rate, it feels very sturdy and that, like, it will hold up over time. If you think this is something you'd like, I would definitely recommend this.

My iPhone 11 Pro Max got RUN OVER while in a UAG case, and while the back glass was shattered within the case, it still worked for a few more weeks (it actually didn’t die until I decided to try and replace the back glass myself. Big mistake.) I got my new UAG case for my 15 pro max before I got my new phone. Their cases are amazing, and so are their lanyards.I’ve got both the wrist lanyard and the neck lanyard, and they work the same way— a little piece of sturdy fabric with a loop attached fits into your phone case between the phone and the case and then the loop sticks out of the charger port. The lengths are easily adjustable and the cords are super sturdy. The lanyards keep your hands free and make it easier to locate your phone when you put it down, too. They’re easy to clip on and off, and I recommend UAG to anyone I talk to about phones. I’m hard on devices and UAG keeps them alive despite my klutziness.

I got the S24 Ultra today and was disappointed to see that this lanyard that fit the 23 ULTRA doesn't fit. I was planning on keeping this lanyard forever. This is with the very expensive URBAN ARMOR GEAR UAG Case Monarch Pro - Kevlar Element Green

If you are rock climbing, or doing something rough and demanding, and need to be sure your phone will stay with you- give this a go.This is way too thick and bulky for day to day use.

The UAG Crossbody Phone Lanyard is constructed of durable woven polyester in a 7mm thick. I found it was completely lightweight and comfortable to wear while hiking with my dog as well as on my scooter. It makes my smart phone feel more secure and quickly accessible especially at sporting events or a concert. It was easy to attach to my phone and rotating carabiner doesn’t interfere with the charging port. I like that it is easily adjustable to different lengths for my preference. Excellent quality and works exactly as described.

I needed a new lanyard as the pink chain one I had does not look very professional. This is nice and has a thick rope, like feeling, you can adjust how long you’d like the lanyard. It also comes with a connection, so I can connect it to my phone. It is very comfortable to wear. I would give it 5 out of 5
