Nice 50s outfit, the material is as expected, only bad thing I can say is it seems a bit flat so I had to buy a petticoat to wear underneath the skirt.

The top part is see thru doesn’t line up either the darts for the chest are not even so the bottoms at the front are practically at my left nipple I know this is Halloween costume but lazy shoddy sewing very thin silt material defo need an underskirt I did get one 50s style was a little long but I got xl and is to large for me wish I had gone size down but Halloween party not that long away so have to keep it must say I am disappointed that I need to alter it …. Belt is crap took it off!!!plus side is the skirt is nice with petticoat on underneath it does give that look…Hopefully after I alter it so the button’s are lined up at the front and not on my left tit I will feel better about it you can’t put the collar up either because the back of the collar is part of the zip so therefor sewed down!!!

Was too small but loverly dress did not try on till the day of fancy dress so my own fault

I bought this dress as the M & S where I work had a dressing up day for our Macmillan charity month. I had loads of compliments as the era I wad dressed for was the 50’s/60’s and it felt very comfortable and fitted just right,

I wore my own belt and cut the one that was attached to the dress at the side seams because it did not go around the waist completely. I also bought a black slip to complete the look. I received many compliments. The skirt picks easily but it worked for the occasion.
