Colors are perfect, very simple design perfect for teaching a little one new craft.

This is a fun project! I used to do these when I was a kid, and so I decided I wanted to re-visit the craft. It's still as fun as it was before! The printing on the canvas is clear and easy to read. The yarn is already cut into size, so all you have to do is tape the edges and start hooking the yarn into the canvas, and soon, you'll have a cute rug that you can put on the wall or floor, or you can give it as a gift.The un-worked kit makes a great gift, as well!

So I grew up making latch hook kits for fun as a kid. My grandma taught it to me so I wanted to pass it to my daughter. So far she's doing great. Its a really peaceful hobby that requires a little bit of focus, but not too bad for a 9 year old. She loves it and its a great introductory craft or even advanced if you like doing them. The design looks great and very vibrant.

The yarn for this kit is really soft which is nice. It is also sorted by color and not mixed together in the same bundle. The yarn is wrapped in little plastic sleeves that keep the colors separate. The design is already on the canvas so you don't have to guess what color to use. The edges are pre-finished but there is an extra row of canvas between it and the design so it will end up with a weird gap. Also the directions on how to actually attach the yarn was not very clear at all. I had to look it up on YouTube to understand it. The canvas is really stiff and the included hook tool is rather flimsy. The hook tool also didn't fit very well with the yarn. Overall this project was really fun and really calming. I recommend this for beginners.

This latch hook kit is a 'sweetheart' of a project to work on. Kit comes complete with all materials and instructions. Canvas mesh material has design stamped on it for ease to match colors. Easy enough for beginners. Highly reommended.

While I haven't yet finished this latch hook heart kit, It does appear to have everything needed to complete the design. The design is pretty much correctly centered on the canvas other than missing one bottom line. I am enjoying the process. I am trying to get used to making stitches like in this heart, to go along curves. I am trying to learn how to make latch hook rugs, needle punch rugs, etc. to make art rugs made with yarns of all descriptions. I love being able to work myself up to being a bit of an expert in latch hook rugs.I appreciate the opportunity to try out this heart latch hook kit. Thank you.
