It will all depend on if your beard will fit in the mask? If not then you would struggle to get a seal around your face.

It can be changed but it comes with something similar to a euro connector, it's very unlikely you will have a coupling that's compatible

Yes, carbon removes the toxins for air fed masks. How often will depend on how regular you use it. If your using it daily id recommend every two weeks solely because contaminated air can cause serious hazard to health
