I DONT CARE ABOUT THE OTHER REVIEWS BECAUSE THIS EBOOK READER IS AWESOME. it did freeze once for a couple of days but all i did was press the reset button on the bottom left near the charging socket and the unit came back . nice size for travel and smooth screen features. mine is working perfectly now. the only drawback i see is there is no back light for night reading, but i use mine in the daytime.great for reading in bright sunlight also. crisp white display. use 32 memory card only as the unit already has 32 memory so a 32 card should be loads of memory space for loads of books. I tried a 64 memory card and it kept saying it’s corrupted. 32 Memory is enough. Honestly not the best reader but I think it has a lot to offer and I love the way it connected to the internet easy and for my needs is GREAT value for the money I paid. You can also connect to google store and download other free ebook stories to read. ………

Doesn’t work. Seller responded with some discount but this device is not worth a pound. Charging doesnt work, sd slot doesnt workpower button is stiff/stuck in. Freezes frequently and it’s absolute rubbish.

I could not leave a verified purchaser review, because my item was secondhand from a different retailer but I just had do counter all the negative comments The Veidoo 5.8 e-reader is great value and unbeatable for the price. The reader size is the perfect balance between portability and readability being able to fit in you jeans pocket and the unit does not feel cheap. The touchscreen works fine and is plenty fast enough. The screen is e-ink and provides a very pleasant reading experience. I personally don't want a backlight or I would be using my phone to read and ruining my eyes. Google play is a game changer in terms of giving his device versatility and you can download Google books direct. I have audio books as well as e-books loaded. The item has reasonable speakers, not loud. You will need o purchase usb-C headphones. The e-reader does not have a audio player installed but I simply downloaded one from Google play. Plenty of memory, battery seems good, easy to use, screenshot facility, calculator,sleep mode and auto shut off. Can flip landscape to portrait and fully adjustable zooming. I personally found it not so good for reading a pdf book because this relies on being able to zoom and adjust the alignment of each page which would work better on a larger faster device and just didn't work for book reading . Sticky with epub and all is good. All in all the perfect device for someone traveling or wanting a comfortable convenient device for reading and audio. P. S The non Matt screen is really just fine and not an issue.

Battery sucks 😔 After 30 minutes battery is dying. Very slow also. Screen quality not good.

This is a decent little e-reader for the price. The size is great — very light and easy to carry, perfect for reading on the go. The screen is clear enough for simple reading, and the battery life is okay if you don’t use too many apps. Just keep in mind that this is a budget device. The resolution is lower than more expensive readers, and the system can feel slow at times, especially when opening apps or navigating menus. For basic reading it works fine, but it’s not as smooth as premium models. Overall, good value if you want a cheap and portable e-reader for simple everyday reading. Not perfect, but it does the job for the price.

Battery life is terrible, it dies very fast. 2-4% every couple of minutes. Unless it's off or disconnected from the internet you're not going to get a lot of time to use. Th resolution is good enough for reading with the built in reader. you can add PDFS or EPUB files to an sd card and put into this or use the usb dongle and connect USB Drive with the files on and transfer to this. The built in reader is okay, but I added the koreader app for more functionality and options with the sizing of text/font when reading. This is an Android based e-reader with Google Play Store already on but most android apps don't work very well on EINK displays and even worst on this low resolution display. This ereader has a slow processor so, things lag and make it difficult to use. and the majority of apps are either unusable or terrible to use. So If your sole purpose is to just read for a short amount of time on a small device, at a bargain price. then this could work for you. if it's more then that or anything else, then I would look elsewhere. I eventually ended up returning mine as I'd rather pay more for a better experience or just read my physical books. As I could not see the benefit for my use case.

I purchase this for second time and this time I bought two devices. This does not strain my eyes when reading. It seems I am reading a paperback. Huge memory support I get of it. This device is excellent and highly recommended for student Barristers, academicians, researchers, Empirical actors.

The most reasonable android ebook reader in the market. This reader is good and nice and it feels great when holding it. It works with Google Play books and the side button also works automatically for page turning. Also it works with audiobooks with pocketbook from the play store. Pros Handy ebook reader Font size is adjustable when reading via the play book app and pocketbook Kindle doesn't work as unable to see login option and the book covers are greyed out. Plays audiobook via pocketbook app Memory card option is good. Cons Slow processing and you need some level of patience when starting the device Battery seems to drain while reading within 24 - 48 hrs

Illisible, pas assez de lumière, on ne voit rien et trop lent

Habe das Gerät zwei Monate und es lässt sich nicht mehr aufladen. Dazu kommt, dass die Akkulaufzeit und die Geschwindigkit des Gerätes gering ist, sogar das Umschlagen der Seiten funktioniert nicht flüssig. Kann ich echt nur von abraten, nehmt lieber mehr Geld in die Hand und kauft was mit mehr Qualität.
