Hot Stuff Pro Tips, 12 pieces

I go through 12 to 14 box of these a year. And they're usually a great help. However recently they started shipping out a totally different design that is absolutely worthless. Instead of having a long straw that has a very precise application of glue and allows you to trim it back as it gets plugged it now has a long cone with only a fine point at the very tip the cone fills up with glue and it just pours out of the end. So even though you have a fine point initially it still delivers way too much glue to do anything precisely. Worst of all this new style is marked with the same product ID PT100 and that makes it impossible to know which one your ordering. If someone from satellite City could step in and help us out I'd be happy to continue ordering and recommending the other product the original one.

I understand why you get so many of these tips now. So far out of 5 that I have used 3 had holes/leaked glue at or near bottom of tip. I needed the extra length with the tip to get where I needed glue at. Just be advised when you get these there might be some that will leak near bottom of the base. But as far as the other couple I have used it worked good!

The flexible extension on these tips is less flexible than other tips. I also found that these tips are prone to clog faster than the lighter (and cheaper) tips. Before you know it you've trimmed back the tip a millimeter at a time trying to get past the clog. On trhe other hand these are so long and stiff that you can pinpoint a drop of CA glue almost three inches inside the project. This is a good thing.

Next time I see them in my shop I'll use them. now, where did my pencil go? lol

The heavy viscosity bottle does a pretty good job at crack filling. All 3 bottles work great.
