As a Chef I appreciate good cutlery, I was a little hesitant when I saw the price was so reasonable but felt they where worth a look. The quality is quite high, I like the olive wood handles, they are well balanced, & very sharp. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a good set of knives for the table.

I had very specific features I was looking for - sleek design, non-serrated, and shaper enough to cut the through meat like butter. These knives met all my requirements. I love that they are in a box that can be used for storage between uses.

Absolutely beautiful and well made

These are outstanding steak knives. The wood is beautiful. The knives are used everyday in our household. I have only 2 minor "complaints" regarding the knives. The first is that they are not dishwasher washable because of the untreated wood handles. It would be better if the handles had been treated so that they could be safely washed in the dishwasher. The second is that the knives are unbalanced. The wood handles are far heavier than the blades. The knives would be even better if they were better balanced. However, these are minor complaints. We would definitely buy these knives again and intend to give them as gifts in the future. The wood handles are beautiful. Just a note: Because they are real wood, you should use a wood wax on the handles occasionally. That will help keep their beauty and keep them from drying out from washing. If you are looking for a great gift for someone, like a housewarming gift, you would not go wrong giving these knives.
