a book about breeding bees for better honey production
I had heard, of course, of Brother Adam and his bees, but had no idea the Buckfast Abbey honey production was so huge - tanks to hold 11 tons of honey! It was an interesting history of the beekeeping there, and how better queens were bred and better methods developed to improve the strain of Buckfast bees.

A VERY INTERESTING READ REGARDING THE TECHNIQUES OF A MASTER BEEKEEPER. AS BROTHER ADAM LIVED TILL 98 HIS EXPERIENCE IN THIS CRAFT IS INVALUABLE.
