Works like a charm. I found some large rubber grommets to insulate the hole so that the cables coming out do no get scrapped on the metal edges. The screw holes lined up perfectly with a 25 year old box we had for the Cable wiring.

Nice and shiny. It comes with 2 screws to mount plate and 2 screws and nut with built-in lockwasher to mount the Decora device to the plate. Because of the size of the electrical plate and the box for the Decora (rectangular hole) side, you need to break the top and bottom ears off of the electrical device. You also need to bend the top center and bottom center screw holes of the Decora side so they will fit the plate. A pliers works fine for this.

It was good I just didn't need it after all.

I figured there was a Decora single-gang cover somewhere, but short of trying an electrician supply (and they sometimes won't sell to non-trade), the big-box blue and orange didn't even have one. It's stamped USA and fits great.
