Since we are currently living in an RV, I wanted to find something that would entertain our shelties in a smaller space. I was a little concerned that our older furbaby, who has a harder time sniffing out things, might not be able to participate. He quickly proved me wrong.This small mat has a very generous assortment of soft fabric pieces that can hide a lot of kibble or treats. Since my dogs normally eat their meals in about 30 seconds, I tried to slow them down hiding it in this toy. It now takes them several minutes to find every last piece and the older one takes about the same time to find it as the younger one.They both get so excited when we use these and the fun lasts. Awesome toy!

My dog likes to bury her treats but we don’t have a yard so she always hides them in random nooks and crannies like couch cushions or within our bed covers. We got this snuffle mat so she can do her thing in a more appropriate place. So far it’s worked out well, we’re currently putting kibble in the different slots so she can nuzzle through and get rewarded for using it correctly. It does take a bit of training but she’s catching on just fine. The underside also has a non skid material so it doesn't flop around as your dog is ruffling through. Works as intended but it is honestly a little pricey for what it is.
