4KG Lava Rocks for Gas BBQ Fire pit Aquarium Chiminea Garden (4kg - 0.5cm to 1cm Approx)

What a difference it has made to the fish tank. Don’t get green algae on glass any more.

I bought this tub to replace the small and inadequate rocks that came with a table top gas bbq. I was able to sort through the pieces and assemble a layer of thick enough rocks to entirely cover the lower mesh without chunks falling through. Some lumps needed to be split to be usable but, for the price, I'm quite happy with the result. The only downside is the rocks are so chunky that they actually impair heat flow, so things cook slower than you might expect. However the flavour from the fat in the rocks more than makes up for that. In the same situation I would buy these again.If you are using these in a fish tank then they will need a good wash before using

Bought to use on the BBQ, delivered promptly and matched the description.As it turned out I should've ordered a smaller size, but contrary to other reviews, I had no problem splitting them down with a hammer and bolster.

Came as two big lumps instead of small chuncks, couldt break them up ( too hard)
