Burgon & Ball GTB/SFDRHS RHS Stainless Steel Digging Fork
M**.
Well worth it esp for tall people
I've needed extra long garden tools for years & these have the big bonus of being very well made.

Light weight but sturdy great quality feel good to handle.

Steel joint snapped under normal digging force
This is not fit for purpose. A digging fork with a lifetime guarantee and rated at 100kgs, recommended by the Royal Horticultural Society snapped in the metal above the weld. I weigh 70 kgs, I was levering a clump of fern out of the ground using moderate force. I am not a Marvel superhero. Don't buy if you intend to actually do any digging with it.

Very strong, quality you'd expect from this manufacturer.
Very strong, quality you'd expect from this manufacturer. Used initially for very tough digging job, considerable pressure put on the spade which it responded well to.

Quality garden fork
I love this garden fork. It's strong and comfortable to use. I'm 5'10" and it's the perfect handle length for me.

Is this value for money
I purchased this fork expecting a superior product, but it feels much the same as others in balance and I am not sure it would take to much leverage than other forks.

weak and over-priced
Weak and not adequate for any substantial digging. I have just used it for its first bit of serious work - digging over a bed at a new address. The soil is not particularly compacted, has few stones, but some roots from shrubs. It couldn't cope. After just an hour, one of the tines is so badly bent out of line that the fork is now useless. No better than a Spear and Jackson forks at half the price. It's nice to have a longer handle than some, but not much point if the fork itself is so poorly made.
