It works with my current batteries.
I bought this hoping it would work with my batteries for my chore gloves. It is perfect. It seems much more sturdy than the one that came with my gloves.

Received 8.4volt, NOT 7.4volt
Update, next day —Worked, charged my gloves, useful little lights on the plug in part change to red when charging a and green when done. Gloves work as normal. Batteries did not get hot while charging. Will never know if the voltage difference breaks down the battery over time .. but glad to have working gloves again!Original review —Ordered this because it was listed as a 7.4volt charger… received an 8.4volt. In a pickle with the pending blizzard so going to try it on my Weston heated liner gloves. Will see if it fries the battery… plugged in and seems to be working (and after a few minutes batteries have not gotten hot). Hoping it is fine!!
