A good fit
It fits in a space for a cigarette lighter on my dashboard

Works as advertised
Works is described it would be helpful if it had an area to attack something so it doesn't get lost.

Relatively cheap as isolator switches go.
Compact. It requires quite a large hole to be cut (22mm if I recall). The greatest danger with this type of switch is the large exposed terminals at the back which are relatively easy to short across by accident depending on the switch location.I really think that this sort of switch should have the terminals protected by, at the very least, small rubber boots. There are switches available on Amazon for just a few pence more which include an enclosure box so the terminals are well protected. This does the job but I think there is room for improvement from a safety aspect.

Good switch
My husband's old car has a parasitic battery draw somewhere so he needed an easy way to switch off the power supply and preserve his battery. This works great for that and mounted easily. The knob is a little wobbly though, it would feel better if it was more secure.

Removable top cover/switch immobiliser. Love this feature!
Very high quality and buzzes out fine (switch operates correctly and disconnects when turned off).I love that the 'out' feature removes the top cap and acts as a key. The switch cannot be turned from the top without the top cap fitted. It needs to be turned from the inside of the switch body using the generic key shape on the underside of the cap.Not entirely sure what the thread size is as I do not see it mentioned on the listing but it measures just under 6mm. So a 6mm or 8mm ring with washers will fit just fine. Probably best fitting 6mm though because the length of thread may only just be enough for a thick ring to be placed over. The switch is nice quality and will fit nicely on a flat panel using the nut supplied.Fairly nice product and will give a sense of security to immobilising the camper when not in use.

Works OK as a switch but the plastic ring fails to tighten to hold in place
IT's OK item but the plastic locking not is completely useless to hold the device in place. It's so loose and flexible that it can be pulled off in by hand and can't tighten enough so that the switch operates without the whole unit rotating. The only reason this isn't 1 star is that i managed to bodge the install by using PTFE tape round the main unit to provide a tighter fit but I shouldn't have had to do this as it's such a basic requirements of this device.

Do not put 100 amps through this it’s tiny as they say in the info
The media could not be loaded. I believe it’s been rated equivalent to the larger isolator you can buy, I put 100 amps through one of those and it melted it and nearly caused a fire. I now pass the high amps through a marine relay costs £189 that says it can carry 300 amps concurrently. I only intend to use 150 amps as my inverter does not handle any more constant current. I control the power to that relay by a 9 volt supply which is going through this switch so I will be completely safe it’s about 1amp. I used to use these switches until the last one melted there is as always a quality issue, buy from a marine shop you know it will be the best quality and usually from the USA. Do not cut corners where hi amps are concerned, my battery pack in my RV is 500amp at 24volts that’s 12kw of stored lithium batteries do not use cheap Chinese isolators. Good luckCompany said they would refund me which they did then I offered to put a replacement through a 150 constant current test to see if it melts they said they would send me 2 to try but never did. Maybe it’s an oversight on their behalf but I can’t change my view without testing it.
