Excellent product
Fed up with what seemed like a 3 or 4 degree difference between on and off with my oldish analogue stat I decided to buy this and, like other reviewers, I found the wiring instructions weren't clear from the manual, however there's help on the internet. I was 99.9% sure what wire went into what terminal but one evening decided to email Timeguard to check it out. I received an email reply the following morning confirming what I thought so excellent service there. For anyone not sure then the "constant live" goes into the COM terminal, the "Call for Heat" (or "switched live") wire goes into the NO terminal and if you have a mains neutral you need to cap it off with a terminal block and tuck it out of the way - there's plenty of space. Nothing is wired into the NC terminal. As for operation it's fine and once you find the temperature that's comfortable for you it keeps the house temperature constant - no more getting too hot and then getting chilly as was the case with my old analogue stat. All in all an excellent product and I wish I had bought one years ago.

Not as photo
The photo on Amazon is the TRT033C thermostat but the one supplied is the TRT033N.

Great thermostat.
Great digital thermostat. I replaced my existing mechanical thermostat with this one. The existing one fluctuated from too hot to too cold. This ones keeps a much more constant temperature. I'm very happy with it.It was easy to install, using the supplied instructions and noting down how the existing one was connected (for working out which cables are permanent live, the switched live and neutral). The neutral can be taped off, as it is not required.

It's a nice unit but I returned it for two reasons
It's a nice unit but I returned it for two reasons. Firstly I assumed the night setback was automatic, ie. dropped 4 degrees at a preset time, say 11pm and then returned to the higher temperature at, say, 7am. Instead you have to set it every night by pressing the 'bed' button and then the + button for as many hours as you want the set back, eg 9 hours, 9 presses. Secondly the relay gives a very loud click which after only one day I found to be obtrusive.
