Very satisfied
Very good purchase, unsure about the electric consumption but works very well. I like the different modes, it’s not that noisy in sleep mode (I slept next to the machine on, it’s just white noise) The clothes dry so much faster, I think especially next winter it will be so useful. The wheels allow easy movement from one room to another It beeps when full and it’s very easy to empty (just either wait a few minutes after it beeps to remove the container or have a towel ready if you don’t want to wait, as water can drip if you’re in a hurry) Also it give humidity level even when it’s not on. Very satisfied

Saved my day
Highly Effective and Quiet Dehumidifier – A Game Changer! I recently purchased this dehumidifier, and it has exceeded my expectations. Living in a humid climate, I struggled with musty odors and dampness, but this unit has made a huge difference. It efficiently removes moisture from the air, maintaining a comfortable humidity level within hours. The 50-pint capacity is perfect for my medium-sized bedroom, and the auto-shutoff feature prevents overflow. What impresses me most is how quiet it is—I can run it overnight without disturbance. The built-in humidistat allows precise control, and the continuous drainage option is convenient for long-term use. The energy efficiency is another plus; it doesn’t drastically increase my electricity bill. The only minor downside is that the water tank needs frequent emptying in very humid conditions, but the hose attachment solves this issue. The sleek, compact design blends well with my room decor. Overall, this dehumidifier is reliable, user-friendly, and highly effective. If you’re dealing with excess moisture, I highly recommend it! 5/5 stars.

I couldn't be happier with my choice!
As a homeowner living in a particularly humid region, managing the moisture levels in my home has always been a challenge. After much research, I opted for the Hangsun 20L dehumidifier, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The first thing that struck me about this dehumidifier was its sleek, white design. It's modern and unobtrusive, fitting perfectly into my home decor. Despite its compact appearance, it packs quite a punch when it comes to performance. The dehumidifier effortlessly covers medium to large-sized rooms, making it perfect for my open-plan living area and even my spacious master bathroom. It has significantly improved the air quality in my home, eliminating that heavy, damp feeling that comes with high humidity. I was particularly impressed by its energy efficiency. This device noticeably consumes less power compared to other models I've used before, which is a huge plus for my utility bills. In terms of noise level, if you want this in your bedroom and are a light sleeper, I will say you can definitely hear it. It may become like white noise to you if you set it to run continuously, though? But it's definitely not silent, it makes a little less noise than a window AC unit. In conclusion, the Hangsun 20L dehumidifier is an excellent investment for anyone looking to improve their indoor air quality. It's efficient, effective, and environmentally friendly. It has made a noticeable difference in the comfort of my home, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to others facing similar humidity issues.

At least as advertised, I think slightly better. Needs emptied twice a day usually,
I paid £118.99 + Delivery - worth it. It has been on almost constantly in the 12 days I have had it. In conjunction with a Jumbo sized HEPA filter which complements it perfectly and even clears the air of cooking smells and smoke from burnt toast etc. The room I am using it in has the kitchen area and a radiator in front of which I have a clothes airer. So fairly damp. Dries towels very quickly actually, it is rated for laundry and it does as advertised. It can fill its tank within 12 hours on a bad day, generally only needs emptied twice a day which is handy. I bought this one to replace a smaller version, same brand, still going strong but now in the bedroom, it is also an empty twice a day unit, lesst moisture in the bedroom though. I use both units in Auto Mode and set humidity threshold to 40 percent in colder weather, 45 in warmer. You will need to use a little heating as well. but I find this helps make a cooler room more bearable. Reliable brand, well deserved recommendations, limited budget and this is excellent value for money as an alternative to a tumble dryer and if you have damp problems of course. I use plain not heated airers and it is just fine. Handy it has a single air intake (over the water tank actually) so fits in smaller spaces. You need to leave about a yard / metre clear of obstructions for best effect. The trick with removing the water tank, as you will find unpacking (the mains lead is IN the tank), is pull it forward until it stops, then tilt down towards you before pulling out. It catches slightly. Takes a while to get the hang of it but it is fine.

Effective, easy to use, and surprisingly powerful — solved my humidity issues in a week
I’ve been using this dehumidifier for just over a week in my new garden room, where I was having consistent humidity issues. It’s already made a big difference — humidity levels are now comfortably within range and the room feels noticeably drier and fresher. Setup was quick and easy — just plug it in, set your desired humidity level, and the unit does the rest. It automatically switches on and off when the levels reach your target (with a small +/- 3% margin). This feature has made it incredibly hands-off to operate. Despite its power, it's fairly compact and discreet in appearance. It does make noise when running — I’d compare it to a dishwasher rather than something loud like a washing machine — but it’s more of a background hum and not disruptive. It collects a surprisingly large amount of moisture even in summer, which suggests it’ll be even more effective in winter. The water is stored in a built-in tank that automatically shuts the unit off when full — no risk of spills. It’s also on wheels, which makes it easy to roll around, though it's a bit heavy if lifting between rooms. One thing to note: it blows warm air from the top, which might be a downside for some people in warmer months. For me, it’s manageable, but worth keeping in mind if you plan to use it in a smaller or already warm space. I appreciate the clear humidity display on the top, which is more practical than the ambient LED color light on the side — though that’s a nice aesthetic touch. Overall, a solid, well-built machine that does exactly what it promises.

Excellent Dehumidifier – Quiet, Powerful, and Reliable
This Hangsun dehumidifier has massively improved the air quality in our home. It pulls a surprising amount of water out of the air each day, even in our damp old cottage. The digital humidity display is accurate and easy to read, and the 24-hour timer is really handy for overnight drying or leaving it on while we’re out. It runs quietly enough to have on in the background without being distracting, and the continuous drainage option is a big plus if you don’t want to keep emptying the tank. Ideal for laundry days, basements, or anywhere with condensation issues. Absolutely worth the money – exceeded expectations.

A good machine with a couple of small but significant issues m
So far, the unit itself has really impressed me. It’s easy to use, looks smart, has multiple settings, and is very effective. I also like that you can set it to run until a specific humidity level is reached, that is super useful. It’s also quiet, and it’s on wheels so it’s easy to move around. HOWEVER…. , It has a couple of significant issues. The first is somewhat minor, in that the draw is very small for the size of the unit, and in a damp flat I have thus far found that it needs emptying a couple of times a day. The much bigger issue is that emptying the draw SUCKS! If the draw is full or close to it, water spills out of the bottom of the unit if either the unit or the draw is jostled or moved. When you do empty the draw, there are so many holes that the water gushes out all over the place; it is quite hard to get it to go straight down the drain and not all over the sideboards. With the draw removed and the appliance both switched off and unplugged, water will continue to come out of the space where the draw was and will go all over the carpet. These seem like problems which could be remedied, and hopefully in the next iteration of the device the designers will take this feedback on board.

Highly recommend
I live in a 1970’s, 3 bed semi. Condensation has been a real problem. Also condensation in the bathroom. No extractor! Thought I’d try this on the landing upstairs. It has made a HUGE difference. No condensation on windows since purchasing. And the condensation in bathroom clears within minutes. I vary the humidity setting, depending on need. It happily clicks on and off and definitely does the job. The amount of times I have to empty it has lessened considerably since I’ve had it. It was taking in a great deal of water initially. The upstairs of the house is also much warmer. The central heating is now much more efficient as it’s not battling damp air! The only thing to note re cons - is it’s not silent. I def couldn’t have it in the bedroom at night. However, I have got used to it now and it clicks on and off during night and does not disturb my sleep. If you’re considering one of these for condensation then I highly recommend. It also drys shower towels if hung close by, meaning you don’t have to put heating on to ensure a dry shower towel.
