Great, cheap ethernet switch that's held up over time
I've had this switch for well over a year now, and had zero problems with it. It's simple, and lets you plug 5 devices in from just a single ethernet run. This allowed me to run ethernet from my office to my living room for hardwired internet to my TV and game systems with extra room for expansion. It's small, cheap, seems solidly built, and comes with a power supply. My one complaint is that the housing is not metal - but for the price, you really can't ask for much more.Highly recommend if you're looking to expand the reach of your hardwired internet on the cheap!

Fantastic little hub
Simply, I was amazed at the ease and functionality of this. Quick screw in to hold in place, just plug and play. Done. Nothing else required.

Future proof on a budget
Works great. I now have att 1 Gig fiber service. My line is over provisioned at 1250 up/1250 down mbps. I wanted to upgrade my old gig switch to take advantage of the speed and future proof my network since 5 Gig is available in my area.

Plug and play upgrade
I noticed that my 1G switch was not recognizing my FIOS router as 1G port and would negotiate down to 100M. If I forced the router to be 1G only, the switch would object and not connect. Replacement time.Got this thing and now at 2.5G between router and the switch. Speed is great. Where it is a bit challenging is that there is no easy way if any devices are at 100M. The light indicator is the same for 1G or 100M. Yes, advertised as such so no surprise, but would be good to know if any devices are not negotiating to the full 1G.

Works as expected
I love that this can provide speeds of up to 2.5gbps. I now have several devices that are 2.5gbps-capable and I needed more than the single 2.5 port on my router. So far, everything I've connected to this switch is maxing out my internet plan (~1.4gbps) without adding any ping time.I haven't noticed any heat coming from the unit, but that could be because I don't really use it that hard.I do wish the bright read power light would turn off or go away. It's too bright, and red is too obnoxious of a color. Other than that, I've been really happy with this budget 2.5gbps switch.

Cheap build quality but for the price you can't beat it
Cheap and does what it says it does. Build quality is not great but everything works as it should.

Easy, and works as advertised
I was a bit skeptical for the price, but what the heck! I needed this for two computers in another room. This is a very inexpensive option, but does the trick!I had been using an old router as a switch, with a lethargic speed of 60 mbps (my IP is optical and 500 mbps, up/down currently). Dropped this in place of the old router, and speeds are up to the full bandwidth. For my local network, moving at 1 to 3 gbps is now a reality. I can move files to my media server or from and from my other workstation rapidly.I work a lot with video and audio so the files are huge in raw form. It also allows me to access my second workstation effectively to use it as a rendering drone.Productivity is way up for less than $10.

Wall Mount?
Seems to work fine. No mention of how to wall mount this thing or hardware to do so, despite it clearly being marketed as "mountable". I don't expect support to be very helpful.
