I bought this for a gift for my beach loving friend and I wanted to keep it for myself. It’s so cute!

This unique handmade garland must be seen to be appreciated – photos can’t do it justice. There is also a lot the online description doesn’t say – which is a real disservice to this gorgeous swag. The description stated the starfish are “simulated” so I expected plastic. They are anything but! The starfish have a base of stiffened felt, on which one side has ~25-30 tiny white spiral seashells aligned to make the arms. Dozens of tiny white seed beads are nestled and glued along the shell bases; they add subtle sparkle. The obverse is decorated with hundreds of the same glittering pearly-white seed beads. See photo.All shells are real, including the half-scallops tied between the starfish. The large “pearls” are faux and only add to the effect. A cotton cord connects everything to make a neutral white palate.This garland is fragile. It was protectively wrapped and arrived intact. Because I was under the impression that the starfish were plastic, it was ordered it with the intention of using it for a party. However, this garland is so beautiful that my plans have changed: I’ll be hanging it from our fireplace mantel as part of seasonal décor. Highly recommended!

These starfish are beautifully created!! The tiny little beats look amazing and it gives it a bit shimmery affect. They added a nice touch to our birthday decor!! Sturdy, great material!

The starfish and seashell Garland is just fun elegant and simple it has just enough decorations of seashells and beads to have it stand out wherever you decide to put it or use it for a Christmas garland I hung mine on a curtain that looks like the ocean and it just gave it a little more pizzazz and fun when I look up at the curtain. This can be left out all year long it doesn't have to be put away because you think it's only for Christmas it's not, it's got many practical uses when decorating with this garland. I also like that the color is neutral and will blend in nicely wherever I decide to put it.

I absolutely love this seashell garland! It is so pretty and although delicate, was really light and easy to hang up in our home.

I like the starfish and shells and the seaside theme of this string, but it it threaded on string. White regular kitchen string. I looks like it could unravel over time, and certainly wouldn't stand up to any moisture. It would be better to string of fishing line, or even twine would look better. I'm undecided right now, whether I will restring or not. Or I could just hang the individual ornaments by themselves. It is long and pretty, but I'm just not happy with the white string.
