Garmin Varia Radar Seat Rail Mount

10x better than the in-box mount that came with my Varia RCT715. It does depend on how you adjust it but my RCT715 now sits 6” further back and around 6” higher up than it was, which are both great bonuses. A word of warning though, the bolts that go through clamps to fasten them to the seat rails are VERY tight. As with all Garmin products, it’s not cheap but it is money well spent.

I spent a good half hour looking at obscure branded mounts and came across this purely by accident. Built like a tank. I wouldn’t trust my RCT715 to anything else. Perfect if you have a dropper post.

More expensive, but you buy once

Good, solid metal and very strong. Why the 3 stars. the extension piece didn’t fit at all. As you can see in the picture. I had to file the sides down and even then it was a struggle to fit them together.

Après en avoir testé 3, moitiés moins chers et tous retournés aussitôt, voici l’objet parfait que j’espérais. Éléments solides, adaptables, inspirants confiance, simple à monter. Bref, c’est cher, certes, et on ne peut que regretter que ce ne soit pas avec l’appareil déjà lui-même assez cher, mais C’EST PARFAIT. L’image n’est pas tout à fait la réalité. La partie qui agrippe le rail est plus plate et nettement plus évasée permettant justement une plus grande adaptabilité.
