Cornstarch is not the same as cornflour. Cornstarch has no fat at all, cornflour does. Cornflour comes from finely ground whole corn kernals. Cornstarch is made from the starchy part of corn. TWO TOTALLY DIFFERENT PRODUCTS .Cornflour can be used to make breads, pancakes, biscuits, waffles, and pastries, in addition to or as a substitute for wheat flour. It adds a distinct corn taste and yellow color.Cornstarch is primarily used to thicken soups, stews, sauces, and gravies.Cornstarch can not be used to make breads, pancakes etc.This product is sold as cornstarch. Okay the packet says cornflour, but you cannot read that from the image given and I had no need to magnify it as after all ..... cornstarch is cornstarch. Except in this case.Now the real downside is, even though their fault, they miscalled the product I am not allowed to return it and get refund.That is appalling!!!!!I have also purchase another product from them, double checked just now it should be what it says, but will never buy from them again purely because of their appalling returns policy when the product is not what they say it is.EDITED TO ADD. I contacted the seller and complained bitterly about the wrong naming of this product and the fact they would not allow me to return it. Give them some praise they refunded me in full. I suggested they corrected the name of the product .... so far not been done.
