A 20 amp adapter plug is no longer needed
Everything looks good so far. I’m really impressed with the software. It will perform a safe shutdown by itself, which I was not anticipating. I have been told it’s best to do so after 5 minutes on battery power, as it doesn’t excessively run down the battery and promotes UPS longevity. The energy cost estimate is also fantastic. I only wish that you could select a region and have it pull the actual cost per kWh. I also wanted to write this review because, despite the advertising image saying that the plug is normal, apparently it wasn’t always, and required a 20 amp adapter. Based on a review saying this, I ordered one and needlessly spent 6 bucks doing so. I figured I’d keep it around, just in case I need one one day. Also very cool that it shows the current wattage load on the ups. I included the specs of what’s hooked to it for comparison to what you’re needing one for. The server, cable modem, Ubiquiti usg 3p, and switch 8 idle around 200 watts, and the total estimated run time is about 50 minutes.. Some day, I’d like to get the USG pro and a rackmount switch and have everything in a cabinet. The server by itself was about 100 at idle. Not bad for a decade old server.

Easy install, good power
Installed this on an equipment controller to give power protection and battery backup during outages. It was to replace an aging smaller unit from another manufacturer. I must say, I am impressed with the build quality and ease of deployment for the unit. It is very impressive. Simple plug in setup for my application, and when the power cuts, it reacts more quickly than the last unit, and the equipment shows absolutely no fluctuation, which is much, much better than the last unit. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Nice product so far but no http without an add-on card
This product advertises "http" in its name but this is deceptive. You need to buy an extra add-on network card with http services to manage it through the network. The product is rightly priced despite the missing network management functionality.I bought it for a small office and it seems to be working as expected so far. The front screen displays stats, wattage, voltage, battery charge etc and is perfect for quick checks.

Fan's little noisy when battery in use
Plugged in to this battery backup:Swann security NVR + 4 security cameras (CAT6 carrying power (POE) for the camera, infrared emitter, mic, speaker);21" RCA 1080 TV/monitor;Netgear wifi network extender;1 in/4 out HDMI splitter;Wireless HDMI transmitter.By my calculations, this 1500VA battery back up should provide about 5 hours of back-up power to the above. We had a 10 minute power outage recently. The security system and network all remained up... There are other battery back up systems on the rest of the network items (gig switch, cable-modem, HDMI receiver, other flat panel monitors). The periodic beep alerting you that the back-up power is in use is a little annoying - and for the larger 1500VA units there is a way to turn that off with an app that came with the unit - I have gotten to that, yet. I wish there was a "silence" button on the outside of the back-up battery's case.If I ever get a whole-house battery, this would be redundant - but I'm sure I could find a use for it...

Great UPS - No Support Brackets - Sags 1/4" in Rack
The UPS itself seems to do a great job; however, I can verify Bryan's March 10, 2018 review that the mounting brackets lack any rear support for such a heavy unit. You can see in the attached photo that the UPS sags nearly 1/4" at the back of the unit. The measurement was taken about 2 weeks after installation so it's possible the unit would sag more over time. This sagging can cause damage to any equipment above or below the UPS, and possibly result in airflow problems. My solution was to purchase the NavePoint Universal 1U Shelf Rail for about $33.00 to provide the necessary support. If you still want to buy this product, I highly recommend budgeting for a proper mounting system.CyberPower really needs to address this issue. This product is marketed as a rack-mounted solution, but fails in this most basic capacity.
