Too Wide For Standard Shades. May need help wiring it in. Looks great
Had to grind out the inner rim of the lamp shade i'd bought to fit this, as the light fitting was approx 1-2mm too wide to fit a standard shade around it. I managed to take off enough material to get the shade on with, and once it was it was on it looked great. My house is a new build and the wiring for the light i was replacing was insane, and had 7-8 different wires hooked up to the existing light, where this has 3 (see pictures) so you may need some additional junction boxes. I managed to suss it out and attach the ceiling rose over the existing one so only changed 3 wires over but if you aren't confident u may need a sparky.Once up, popped in a HIVE colour change bulb and it looks great, so i'm happy with the final result, it just took a lot of effort to get there.

Almost perfect but not quite
Looks amazing with a golden shaded globe faraday bulb. Great value for money too and easy to fit.But... the sticky warning label takes a while to remove and leaves an unsightly mess. The only way of getting this off properly is with sticky stuff remover so be prepared to spend ten minutes of fading. The other but is that they are wonky. They're wonky because the cord is secured by a grub screw at the top and one at the bottom. This means the pressure from the grub screw is on one side of the cord bending it slightly and giving it a wonky look. Fortunately we like wonky. Wonky is the new black.Still we bought 7. Look great.

Euro sized shade ring only. Too big for UK shades.
This is fine if you have a European sized shade ring. On the shade we had it had a removable UK shade ring adaptor. Once we removed that this worked OK. If you don’t, steer clear. The flex and shade holder end look nice and seem reasonable quality. The ceiling fitting is the usual rubbish you get on most light fittings which are troublesome to fit on UK ceiling roses. The simple bent metal bracket needs the existing ceiling rose junction box to be removed. There is then no provision for the multiple conductors of ring circuits and switch wires to be connected together in this fitting. My solution on this and other light fittings is to use Wago connectors which can be used to join cable conductors and flex relatively easily when working overhead (they just push on). In the case of this fitting I also had to add some flex and make up a bit of colour coded sleeved earth conductor as everything is just so difficult to fit otherwise. Just not designed to work in the UK easily.

Great.
Bought the brass and chrome types to replace the ugly white pastiche ones in our home. They look stylish and I’m really happy with them. Seemed easy to install too.

Exactly what I wanted!
I was very sceptical about buying such things online but I just couldn’t find what I wanted in the shops (wanted that non-shiney brushed chrome/nickel effect)Reviews seemed generally good so I went for it and I’m very glad I did! Exactly what I wanted. They feel sturdy and good quality. Got my sparky to install and he said they were easy to fit. Fitted a standard Dunelm shade, no problem. All in all I’m pretty happy 😊

Not compatible with Normal light shades
The arrived well packaged and on time. Product is well made and looks more expensive than the price. Main down side is that the bulb fitting diameter is to large to fit normal shades. we have had to send the item back.

Good quality & value
Used electrician to install, but Im sure if you knew what you were doing you could DIY. Looks good quality especially for the price. Didn’t realise the lampshade so bought actually came with the light fitting, however this one was slightly larger and in my opinion looked better. Quick delivery.
