As everyone else says, “super easy to install.”I will note that everyone else’s pictures are taken with the light OFF or with massive overexposure, which doesn’t actually show what the light looks like on and functioning.So when I turned the breakers back on, I was a little annoyed to see that the light was not diffused into an even glow, as one of the pictures led me to believe, but in real life, you can clearly see three distinct lights within the fixture. I’ve uploaded a *real picture* which accurately depicts what it looks like with three GE LED Reveal 60W equivalents. As it stands, it’s better than what was there before, and it doesn’t overwhelm the 8’ floor to ceiling space, despite being 19” in diameter. It’s a bit flimsy and light in construction, but I suppose I have less concern about it falling out of the ceiling that way as well.Pro tip: If you want to outfit the rest of your house with similar but smaller fixtures, the Home Decorators “Grafton” light is 15” and almost aesthetically indistinguishable. I installed both and even the installation was virtually identical. Minka doesn’t make the Harbour in smaller sizes.Recommend with the caveat of whether you like staring at three separate bulbs (or if you want to go for an integrated LED which would spread the light more evenly).

I was so excited when this arrived! I’m still working on room but when I paint my accent wall dark it’s going to pop . I have 9ft. Ceiling and I really love it.

Our house entry doesn't have a light fixture, so I wanted a hall fixture that would give a lot of light. Even though this is a small space, the Minka Lavery flush mount doesn't overwhelm it. I love that the top of the fixture is open, which allows the light to reflect off the ceiling as well as downward so there is less ceiling darkness/shadows. I've found a difficult time finding a fixture that does this unless it has exposed bulbs/not encased. I love this fixture so much that I plan to take it with me to my next house as we are moving soon. I really debated over the price, but haven't had any regrets.

This product looks sharp once installed. The light it throws is nice, with a soft indirect light above the direct diffused light. As noted in other reviews this brass color is more of a gold-brass than silver-champagne brass. If I wanted to be picky, I would add that the lower ring finish is less gold than the ceiling mount section and arms. However, you only notice that when removing it from the package and once on the ceiling it was undetectable.

I bought 3 of these when re-modeling my home office space, mostly because I could not find another affordable option that seem to fit given the need for big fixtures and lots of light. That said, I like them a lot more than what I thought I would. They are an attractive complement to the office -- in fact they make a bold statement about the whole room. But, I haven't come close to matching complementary doorknobs and hinges with them yet, which is disappoint.

First time light installer. WE DID IT OURSELVES AND IT TOOK LESS THAN AN HOUR. Great price and looks super classy in my kitchen. My ceilings are only 8.5 feet, and a big pendant didn't seem right. This is classy and matches with different decor styles. I love the light it gives off. With 3 100 watt bulbs, you couldn't possibly need more light. We use it on a dimmer switch so we can get the lighting just right. We love it! Definitely recommend and we're so impressed with our ability to install it. YAY!!

The color is deceiving in this picture. It is def a not a true brass color, it is more of gold brass tone. It is a very nice piece but I may have not gotten it for the price because I wanted brass..so I would have paid more. LOL. I am hanging it in my home office which is oak walled and it looks lovely with it's warmer tone.

I purchased this for my Master bedroom because I wanted something that is shaded but not a 'boob' light. It looks a bit bigger when installed because it's such an eye catcher. Overall, it looks great and everyone compliments on it.
