Tomorrow's God: Our Greatest Spiritual Challenge

I've read many books pertaining to our need to change the way we go about doing things if we are to succeed as a species on this planet. Many have outlined the necessary steps that we must make in order to do so and none have done it more succinctly and beautifully as this book from Neale Donald Walsch. Recognizing the duality that exists within us as our ego and our true self, and that the true self is currently overshadowed by the ego, cuts to the very nature of our current world situation and all its attending war, strife and suffering. Only the ego uses tools of fear to try to bring about solutions to all the problems we see. Walsch's book brings this duality to the forefront using a very unique literary vehicle and whether you choose to believe that he actually converses with God is irrelevant. His word's ring so true that if read without blinders and preconceptions they touch our very core, our true selves,love. When we finally realize that all our travails are rooted in ego manifesting our reality we'll know that we aren't separate, but one, and that the belief in separateness is killing us at an ever increasing pace. Our problems are spiritual in nature as expressed through our misguided and misunderstood teachings of our religions. Walsch clearly shows how the dogmatic aspects of those religious beliefs have lead us very close to the brink of our own self destruction. All our religions at their foundation teach that love is the only answer. Unfortunately, misinterpretations of our religions are what the ego uses to have us believe that our's is the only way to salvation, and our way is the only way. Using all aspects of fear it manipulates us to the point that we no longer know who we really are and we cave into the fear. And knowing who we really are will be our only true salvation and it will only come once we embrace fully that love is the only answer. Unless that thought can be fully realized we are doomed to repeating the same pitiful attempts of answering our problems using the tools of fear so readily supplied by our egos. Walsch, or God speaking through him, gives us the basic tools to begin a transformation in our belief structure about who we are and who God is. This will lead to a new world, one based on love, not fear. One based on the knowledge that we all have at our core the one and only thing that can rejoin us as one, love. There are many good books finding there way into our hands giving us the guidance and opportunity we need to proceed into the 21st century successfully. Its up to us to finally say, we've had enough, there's got to be a better way.. I believe that way is outlined clearly in this book. If this book were to be read by everyone, I believe the world would see a profound move towards what we all profess to want, peace and love mainfested between all people. For yourself, your family, the family of man, and the future of the world, get this book and read it and then take action... do it today.

A marvelous book for anyone who is looking for the love of the Lord. I am 84 years old and have been on the spiritual pathway for over 50 years. I believe it is the inner Lord Himself that directs us to certain books that will help us along the path. All we have to be is receptive to His inner quiet whisperings and listen. There is so much outer noise in our lives for many of us it is very difficult to just sit still in the silence of our inner self and listen. I want to thank The inner Lord for turning me onto this book and also to Neale Donald Walsch for listening in the silence of his heart to the Lord to be able to write this most wonderful book. Although on the spiritual path for such a long while I learned a lot from the book ... and consider it a keeper to be read and reread.

Being born in 1933, I was brought up with yesterday’s god. But now I am with Tomorrow’s God. Great book. I have told my friends about it and told them that they are Divine. They were most happy until I told them everyone Is Divine and we are all One. They found exceptions. But I planted seeds in them. Maybe I will join the group mentioned in the book.

Tomorrow's God is my experience of God today. This book along with the CWG series is forever etched in my being and is a guide on a daily basis. Absolutely thought provoking, causing you to think about life in a new and bold way.

Since i was little i talked to God more than saying a rehearsed prayer. I thought everybody talked to God. Not until an ex girlfriend gave me Conversations With God Book 1 ... I had already learned that God talks to people we just don't stop to listen. I believe that with this or any of Neales other books we can change our lives and the outcome and that God never quit talking to us even though man ended the bible and hasn't added to it in over 2000 years... God does miracles everyday why don't we write about them ??? Neale does. Great book to open your mind and be one with your God

I'll keep this short since there are so many wonderful reviews given already. Tomorrow's God has kept me wanting to know more - how do we as a society change. . . . or do we continue in the direction we are headed? It's up to us. I want to see a positive change. As an avid reader of religious and theological material, I was very suprised to fine myself reading this book (that I picked-up at a garage sale) and being overwhelmed by the wisdom of the writer NEALE DONALD WALSCH. Note: I later bought the hard copy for my collection.I consider myself a spiritial progressive, but I believe this book would touch the heart and soul of anyone with an open mind and a desire to search for a better way of LIFE, a more rational definition of GOD, and the authentic way in which to LOVE one another.If you read this book you will realize the difference between your TRUE FEELINGS and what some would call EMOTIONSI hope you will read and share!

This book says it like it is. We have to change our belief systems (religions) before anything can change for the better. Our pathology as humans is belief based on the principle that we are separate from God; and we are not. We are one with God the creator, and we are all part of Life (God). We would never do to Life what we do to humans, if we could just remember we are all one our pathology would once and for all be healed!!!!!

This is a liberating book, because it strips our old views on God and replaces them with generosity and openness. You are accepted as you are. You are already enlightened and so is everyone else. Live in this and show it to everyone you meet in all simplicity.I reckon this is Jesus message even though the church distorted it into complexity and power structures. I am convinced it is the core of so many other teachers' messages too. It is a way of life as well as a faith.I enjoyed this book thoroughly and have read it several times to let it percolate more deeply into my life.I invite you to do the same.

This book is a wake up call for everyone. Even if you don't believe or disagree with what is said, It will make you think, and could change you way of living.

I always love the cogent thinking that the God character has as opposed to the author who is deeply flawed in his beliefs and thoughts and recognises this but continuously and tirelessly searches for a better way more than many others can claim to. Thank you Neale Donald Walsh
