It has really helped my shoulder
This strap has really helped take the pressure off my bad shoulder. It makes my guitar sit at a better angle when I stand and play. I don't twist my body so much when I sit and play. The only problem I had with it is that the minimum length it goes to is still a bit too big for me. But I have fixed that problem with a couple of safety pins. I do have to keep tightening the straps up more often than my last strap but it's not often enough to annoy me. Where the straps cross around the neck can get a bit sharp. I suppose that's just the material used. Or maybe because I have it tighten up to the max. But apart from that my shoulder thanks the makers of this product. If you made one with a different material and size adjustment and charged extra for the cost. I'd happily buy one. It really has saved my shoulder. My guitar feels lighter and I don't have to stop playing because my shoulder hurts. Thanks.

Needs work
There should be something to spread the strap away from your neck, so it doesn't ride up and pinch your jugulars, and the damn snap in front is way under-engineered. Unreliable, it will unsnap with any slight movement.

It balances your guitar and takes away shoulder fatigue.
For me it was a game changer for heavy bass guitars. The only thing thing I didn't care for much is it rubs the neck. This is not a problem if you wear a shirt with a collar. I tuck mine like a tie. It's a very good product.

Probably not meant for basses...
I bought this strap for Christmas for my mom's boyfriends bass. He is pretty skinny and has a rough time sometimes standing for long periods of time with a heavy instrument. I was hoping this strap would cure this small dilemma. In the product description, it states that this is made for heavier instruments, (bass would be definitely listed under the "heavier instruments" category.) If it's made for heavier instruments then it should be able to do what it's supposed to. This strap WILL NOT hold a bass guitar. Either that or the one I got was DEFECTIVE. The simple pants like snap button does relatively nothing to keep the 2 ends together. It will snap shut but once any pressure over, eh (10 lbs), the button will snap apart. I am kinda disappointed in part due to that because now instead of watching him play with the one I got him he still uses the one he already had. So now it just sits there and I know it's sitting there. THANKS GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good solution for neck dive
Bought it to cure "neck dive" problem with my SG, and it works great. My SG is light, but the center of gravity is way out towards the headstock. This strap keeps the neck from dropping, and also keeps the guitar from shifting out too far to the left.

Works well for what I need it for.
I have a Gibson Les Paul as my main live & band practice guitar, and if you've ever played one you'll know they are freakin' heavy. I suppose I'm vain enough to care about how a strap looks live, so I use my single strap, and when the adrenaline is flowing it's not much of a bother regardless. But when I'm practicing with my band or just standing up to practice in general, this is very helpful to reduce the soreness of my left shoulder. I probably wouldn't want to play it live anyways because if your rocking out at all the 2nd strap can pop out fairly easily. This is rarely a problem though when I'm just doing routine practice and I'm not moving much. So if your looking for something to redistribute weight for a lighter practice or non-energetic performance this might be what your looking for.

Great for weight distribution
This is exactly what I needed, I use an epiphone thunderbird IV and if you have ever used one you know that it is not weighted properly and the neck will fall. This strap is exactly what I needed it makes the bass lighter and it prevents it from falling. It does what it says for the price.

worked great! For 1 Hour
I played my 1977 Gibson Les Paul Custom (really heavy) for an hour with no shoulder or neck pain - fantastic! What a relief. I had no trouble adjusting the strap to get the guitar in my usual playing position. I had no trouble with the button on the 2nd shoulder strap. Highly recommended. ***UPDATE*** I began to play the next day at home (not jumping around) and the snap button on the 2nd shoulder strap broke apart, leaving the strap useless. As noted in other reviews, they are using cheap materials. Don't waste your time or money. D'Addario makes great strings but they should be embarrassed to be associated with such crappy merchandise.
