Convenient for infrequent soldering jobs
This high quality solder flux is suitable for microelectronics work but I use it differently: infrequent soldering jobs. I don't have an ever-ready soldering station; I dig out equipment and supplies when soldering is required, and sometimes I find messes from soldering flux leaking tins. This soldering flux is neatly packaged in a resealable plastic syringe. The package includes the flux-filled syringe body, a removable plunger, removable end caps, and two (metal needle plus plastic cone) flux applicator tips all contained in a zip lock plastic envelope. It is easy to assemble the syringe, to apply a measured amount of flux, and then to cleanly reclose the syringe: no mess. The flux is odorless and skin-benign (keep out of your eyes), the flux has the consistency of salve, and with heat application the flux flows readily and coats the metal to be soldered. This flux applicator system eliminates flux messes and makes my infrequent soldering jobs easier.

Works for jump ring soldering
I know jewelry soldering is not the intent for this. But I was trying to help someone learn how to solder jump rings and we were having a heck of a time getting the solder for flow. I applied this, used a little heat, and it worked. One bit of warning. The material is very soft so use very gentle pressure when pushing the plunger down.

Flux review
Good quality flux no complaints there however the only complaint I have is the fact that the flux doesn't come in the syringe or a way to get the flux into the syringe without getting messy on getting it on your hands one thing I can suggest is that it can come with a brush and use it that way

Excellent product
So much better than the metal tins of solder that tend to leak and make a mess. The jar is a generous size, which should last me a long time. The product comes complete with a syringe, with applicator tip, for pinpoint application, as well as a small brush for larger coverage. The container is sturdy, and has an inner seal, which should help preserve the flux. The product itself appears to be of high quality, as the solder joints I've made so far came out looking great.

Flux is your friend
I've always had paste flux in a little tin. Works ok for wires (just stick em in) but it's annoying to use on parts and boards, having to use a toothpick or something to scrape a small amount out and wipe it on the part. I saw people using liquid flux in repair videos and thought I'd give it a shot. Way more convenient than using the solid stuff on boards!

Good quality flux, in a dispenser. An essential product in any electronics kit
This is 533 no-clean flux, in a dispenser. This is good quality flux, and is as good as other name brand fluxes I've used in the past. The dispenser is handy for precision applications. If you're not experienced in soldering, and don't appreciate the value of flux, then get this, because it is essential for any electronics work. Most solder has flux inside the wire, but when you need to rework something, you need to use extra flux. Flux just helps soldering go more smoothly.

533 Solder Flux,No Clean Flux,Lead Free Rosin Flux,Electronics Soldering Flux
It's flux and IMO a necessary tool when soldering!Years ago (OK maybe decades ago) when I was doing electronics work for a living I would only buy 'name brand fluxes' but with the explosion of DIY electronics and repairs and smaller surface mount components, there is now a wide variety of alternative fluxes on the market for the hobbyist to use that are very decent...I really can't say anything negative about this flux it works, the fine applicator tip is nice as it allows precise application so that you don't get too much of a mess on the board... All in all it's a decent flux at a decent price to add to your soldering setup...

Works OK
I'm still a novice when it comes to soldering but I quickly learned at my previous job that having good flux can really help. Now I've only ever used one brand at work (the jar had a red cap and red/white/blue in the label, might be La-Co brand?) but comparing prices here makes me question why this syringe costs nearly as much as a jar with 5x, 10x, or even 50x more flux. I guess in terms of functionality it seems to do the job but I'd recommend shopping around as a jar of name brand flux and separate syringe might be the better play.
