easy to set up
works as advertised. it would be nice to have an indicator light or something to let you know what is going on with the device. i have a 48v system in series and use this to balance my 12v lifepo4 batteries.

Good to Go
Works great, keeps batteries at equal SOC in a series string.

I Love this thing!
I was experiencing "imbalaces" with 4, 12 volt 100 amp Redodo batteries. The bms would find one cell or battery that was slightly difference voltage and shut down the battery, then the 24 volt inverter would shut down because there wasn't 24 volts anymore. Even though the batteries were close to full charge, they just had to be different state of charge, enough to bother the BMS. I am NOT THRILLED with Redodo, my fault for buying the cheapest batteries I could find. The LiTime battery equalizer has solved the problem, 100%, its easy to install, its small, inexpensive and WORKS great! If you have more than two batteries, you might consider this.

The Battery Balancer that Unbalances
I bought this when I bought with first 4 12.8v LiFePo4 batteries that I wired in series for 51.2v. These batteries were to be used with a solar inverter to power my house during outages.I read all the warnings about batteries in series becoming unbalanced over time thus affecting the longevity of the pack.I figured an active battery balancer would be perfect keep everything in line. After my research I settled on this brand. The reviews appeared good and the brand from what I understand was reputable.I charged all the batteries in parallel to 100% first, let them sit overnight then proceeded to connect them in series. The instructions say to install the leads from left to right and that's what I did.The next day, one battery is 200mv lower than the rest. The next day another battery is 60mv higher than the rest. This cycle went on for weeks. They never balanced. To make matters worse because it couldn't balance it never stop running draining my batteries very quickly. What's ironic is after I uninstalled it is when my batteries achieved balance.I've also used this on another set of LiFePo4 in series and had the same result. I'm just going to assume I got a defective product as I'm seeing reviews saying it works.

It just works
I installed it in 15 minutes. Take care to leave the negative lead protective covers in place until final connection. I had planned to install a 10a fuse for each pos lead so that I could disconnect easily if needed. However, the thing just works! I have seen no excessive draw as other have noted. I have checked every day or two over the past month and the voltages are always within 10mv. My overall efficiency and capacity have not been adversely impacted. I can now take it safely down to 10% without one of the four LiTime Mini's disconnecting for low voltage and shutting down my 48v system. This is about 6-7% more than before the balancer. This balancer is worth the money.
