No NonsenseWomen's Stretch Denim Leggings with Pockets

nice fit and look on a large athletic woman, totally comfy
UPDATE: I accidentally fell asleep on the couch in these. I slept all night, very comfortably. I wanted to make this update because I remembered one reviewer saying that they were comfortable but she wouldn't sleep in them. I'm a pea-intolerant princess when it comes to my bedding: tangles in the sheets under me tend to wake me up, and just forget lacy negligees. But these jeggings were great!Thank you, to all the Amazonians who gave their measurements and other details. I will do the same in hopes it will help more people. I am 5'8", waist 29", very wide pelvic bones with widest fleshy part of hips 39", thigh diameter 22". Curvy, athletic, muscular build, with big thighs from heavy lifting, running, cycling. But the clothing industry thinks that my big thighs mean that I am overweight and have a pot belly. It's almost impossible to find pants or jeans that fit in all places without tailoring; if I can yank a pair past my massive thighs and butt, then the waist is usually 2-3 inches too big. I recently put on a few pounds of fat, so all the Size 4 jeans that I have altered are uncomfortably tight. I have been living--and running and cycling--in cotton Xhilaration tights from Target; the snake print is so darling and very flattering. Perhaps a little *too* flattering: even though I buy them in large so that they are a little roomy and my panty-lines don't show, reg'lar ol' tights look just this side of naked, as far as my conservative neighborhood is concerned. Searching for tights with eye-confusing patterns on them, I came across the under-advertised world of jean-style leggings. I have purchased several. If you check my other reviews you can see what I think of a variety of brands.Based on the reviews, I bought the No Nonsense Dark Denim Leggings in medium. I just love them! They have real double-stitching along the legs and around the pockets and fake fly. The back pockets are stylishly, flatteringly (and distractingly) small and low. The legs are plenty long enough to slouch a little bit around my lower calves, the lower part of the leg is just loose enough to look like real jeans rather than tights. You can't see a panty line, even when I wear my poorly-designed Jockey For Her cotton bikinis under the leggings. They provide the camoflage that I need to look less naked in public, while...basically allowing me to be naked in public. :)The fit is sexy-tight and smooth around my thighs and butt, and just slightly creases/bunches like regular denim jeans. I really like this look, but if you don't then you should get a size smaller than your usual and it will smooth out.On me, probably because the drop between my hips and thighs is so big, the waist is a little looser than I would prefer, resulting in a 3/4-inch gap in the back when I sit down; still, not nearly as gappy as normal jeans, and the material is thin enough that I can easily take in the waist a little. I'm sure I could get into the Small and they'd probably be comfortable, but on me they would look a lot more like tights and less like skinny denim jeans. The material is more substantial than I was expecting from leggings. Some of my real skinny denim jeans are about this weight. I can ride my bike comfortably in these, but they would also provide moderate protection on a woodland path. What would make these leggings even better? Fit-wise, since they are *leggings*, not jeans, I feel that the waist band should be smaller. Cosmetically-speaking, I don't like the obvious sudden halt between jeans-look detailing and the old lady stretchy pants solid waistband; I can only wear these with a top that covers the waistband--what about my crop tops? I'd prefer that the contrast double stitch illusion continue into the waist band. I think at least one fake brass button on the waist band would look awesome; in fact, I think I will add one myself. Belt loops faked with stitching would perfect the look; real ones would be very useful for women with a big hips/waist drop. Just because they are stretch pants doesn't mean that a blank waistband has to give that fact away. I wish they were available in more fades, washes, and distressing. Soon, maybe?

Nice jean look leggings
These leggings are soft and comfortable, and really like the stitching that makes them look like jeans. I'm 5'6 and weigh 123 lbs, so I should have ordered the medium. The large is comfortable, but we're too big in the legs. I may order a medium, since they are really nice, and a good price.

Very Comfortable Stretchy Jeans
These are one of my favorite breathable, lighter weight, comfy types of jeans. Great look, color, softness, & elasticity. Wrinkle-free when removed from dryer within a few mins, & I've never noticed any shrinking when washed in cold water & dried on med heat. Love the straight, but not overly tight legs & ankles. Look great on, & pair well with any type outfit. Also appreciate the back pockets, were I keep my phone. Altho, I often wonder why the back pockets of women's jeans are usually much smaller than men's jeans these days. I think larger back pockets would not just be more functional, but also more flattering. Also note: this lighter weight, softer, stretchier fabric is not as durable & long lasting as on regular weight jeans, but I think that's the trade-off for the comfort. & These are great to wear in Summer.

The only “jeans” I wear!
These are the comfiest “jeans” I’ve ever had and I can’t go back to traditional jeans now. They are fantastically comfortable, look great, and have held up well over the past couple years. I highly recommend them!!!

Sturdy leggings
They are nice and sturdy. They fit like a similar pair I had for years. They hug in all the right places BUT I have an upside down heart shaped booty, not round so they slide down. It’s flatter at the top and gets rounder in the middle, and plump on the bottom. They don’t sag in the crotch or anything. The pair I loved (not from this company) finally got a hole in them after years of wearing and I wanted to replace them and these look very similar. Its not the same though or maybe I just need to break them in some more but I’m not in love with them. The old pair like these had belt hoops which made them PERFECT because I didn’t have to keep pulling them up. These are fine. Basically the same thing as what you can get at Walmart but MAYBE a bit sturdier? MAYBE. So if you just don’t want to go out it will save you a trip. I will say they may be a little softer on your skin than the ones from Walmart though. And they are very stretchy so any body type could probably wear them as long as you don’t mind pulling them up because your booty is flat up top. Again, maybe that won’t happen after I break them in, I’ve only worn them like twice.Edit: it’s now 12/22 and they never got any better. They started wearing in the thighs months ago. I wear them maybe 3-5 times a MONTH. I have other pants so I don’t even always wear them every week. The color got lighter on the thighs seams first. Then they got white spots on the seam, and now they are just worn along the seam. I expect to have pants more than a year, especially if I’m not wearing them all the time. I won’t buy this brand again to replace them. I was never that impressed. For something quick to wear with an outfit they are great. But they aren’t very durable or for long term wearing.

Comfy and warm leggings!
I've previously purchased 3 pair of these well made leggings...was happy to see they're still available! So reasonably priced...long length and warm fabric, especially perfect for the colder months...sturdy and washes well...comfy yet secure elastic wasteband..two actual pockets in back! I'm 5'8" and and a size 8/10...these fit perfectly!

Honestly I like them way to much
I had ordered 2 of these pants years ago because I wanted Jeggings without going to the store and I believe I did it as a "try before you buy" and both pairs fit really well. I got an XL and they were comfy and I loved wearing them. Now I'm cleaning out my closet and going through my clothes and noticed I needed more pants so I order these again. Two more of the same ones AGAIN. Honestly I think I like them way to much but they're so comfy and fit well. I get the stretch and comfiness of leggings and a denim jean look. Sounds perfect to me.

Great denim legging!
I scoured the reviews of these leggings before purchasing because I was unsure which size to order. Hopefully this helps someone!Without the reviews, I would have purchased the XXL. I'm about 5'5, 225lbs and I carry most of my weight in my hips and thighs. I also have a lower belly pooch from having two c-sections, one being last year. I pretty much always have to go for 2X or 3X with pants even though I'm a XL for tops. A lot of the reviews seemed to say these run big though, so I took a chance on the XL.When I first tried them on, my thought was oh no....I didn't think they were going to fit because the legs felt quite snug. These have a nice amount of stretch though. Not a ton, but just enough that once you get them on they feel secure and comfortable. I like that they are somewhat high waisted. On me they come to just at my bellybutton. This is perfect because it keeps my pooch in check and also is high enough at the back that they don't ride down during daily activities/chasing small humans. The material is nice. It's thicker and more denim like than legging like. They are not sheer at all. All the contrast stitching and details gives the appearance of jeans while still being comfortable which I like. I will also add that I have at least 2" of extra length on the legs, but it's not so much that it looks silly. Now, these are not traditional leggings comfy because the fabric does have structure, but they don't feel binding once on. After washing they do snug up, but they go back to the regular fit while wearing.I feel like I'm right at the edge of this size. I debated ordering another pair in the XXL since these do feel snug when putting them on, but I worry the next size up would be way too big around the waist and I hate gaping. I have a different pair of leggings that fit well in the legs, but are too big in the waist and they always shimmy down while I'm wearing them. These stay put.I would say those who appear to be my size/shape or a bit smaller would be fine with the XL, but if you're larger or carry more weight in your stomach/hips area you might want to go up.

Comfy and look great on
These look amazingly like jeans on and flatteringly shaping the legs. Comfy at all places and don't slide down. I even like these more than real jeans now, as the material is stretchy and offers more movements, that is to say I'm giving up the warm thickness of real jeans (ie these jeggings are a lil thinner). I just don't really like the price for one pair so I'm hoping for a deal or something lol. Until then I would only wear and wash them sparingly

Excelentes leggins! 👏✨
