Liberty Orchards Aplets & Cotlets, 16 oz Bag in a BlackTie Box

My dad loves these things, and I buy them for him every Christmas. I usually buy the flat original box where they are all unwrapped in the plastic tray. He savors his box until April or May, lol, by that time those things are rock hard. I saw this option of individually wrapped candies and thought it a great option to keep fresh longer. He's so happy that he can keep them fresh easier and enjoy them longer! Will buy this way every time now instead.

Nice size and flavor.

My parents introduced me to apples and cotlets candies as a kid. I hadn’t had any for quite some time. I remembered how much my dad loved them when I was trying to come up with a gift for him. Of course I had to buy myself some in order to make sure they would be up to par. These definitely passed muster. Quite tasty and satisfying. I did notice that the apple flavored ones were softer than the apricot but regardless it doesn’t effect the taste.

I'm from Washington, home of Aplets and Cotlets, but now that I live in the midwest, they're not so readily available and I miss them! I'd considered getting a big box of them, but what I like about this is that they're individually wrapped so I'm less likely to eat too many and get a stomach ache and they'll also stay fresher much longer.The box they come in is nice and exactly what's pictured in the product photos. I opened mine from the bottom, but if you open the box normally, it works pretty well. The pieces are a nice size, either a mouthful or a few bites, depending on how crazy you are about eating them. They're very fresh too, not chewy, not stale, but perfect.By weight, this was one of the best values for getting Aplets and Cotlets on Amazon. I'm so pleased with this and will not hesitate to order again in the future when I need my Aplets and Cotlets fix.

Found the 1 pound box, individually wrapped to be a great deal. All tasted fresh, just enough powdered sugar to keep the fruit from being sticky, not so much to hide the flavor of the fruit.It has been decades since I enjoyed Aplets & Cotlets as a child & young adult. Not quite as I remembered, but close enough that I will buy again. Found I much prefer the Cotlets, wish I could buy a box of just the one flavor.

Normally aplets & cotlets are soft and easy to chew or bite into and supper yummy. This box, the wrapped candies are too hard to bite. I have thrown away over half of the candies so far. I'm very disappointed that these were old and hard and not fresh. I'd like to be reimbursed for this box or have a replacement of a fresher box.

I absolutely love these, they are not as overly sweet as other brands of Turkish delight, and that really appeals to me, they are very tasty and I love that they are individually wrapped and they arrive in that cute little black box that has a white bow printed on it. A nice ample stocking stuffer.
