Hohner Special 20 Pro Pack 5-piece Harmonica Set

The case is what it is, but the harps are Special 20s, one of the best harps for beginners and pros alike! Only an idiot would say otherwise!All of mine have perfect tone on every note. Even the higher notes in the higher keys are easy to make sound correctly (which could just be because I can blow into a harp fairly correctly).I'll admit it, junk harps, I STRUGGLE! The Special 20s are the next level new-school harps!I should add, my 40 yr old Golden Melodies still work, but they are just not near my Special 20s. In fairness, I haven't played a new Golden Melody in literally almost 40 years (They are also great harps as I recall).Good people, don't waste your money on junk (if you're a beginner). You will NEVER learn to play so don't even bother!Real players, you already know! Special 20s have got to be the nicest low maintenance harps on the market!

This set was given as a gift to my lover of 5 decades. He has played for almost that long and has worn many out. Hohner has always been his go-to brand and has purchased one here and there over the years. No waiting this time. I guess this is a really selfish gift...I really enjoy listening to him play.

They sound great but the screws fall out and are tiny so they disappear and the harmonicas are useless until you can find screws and nuts that fit.

I play these relentlessly. They sound great, full, rich and are easy to bend. Love them.

Overall I like the set and the keys they included. Plastic combs are good for beginners but they really increased the prices. Its a much better value than purchasing individually. Even the Marine Band Hohner's have become overpriced. Comes with a nice case with two extra slots that are too small for additional harmonica's unless they are two more Special Twenty's. The Rockets and Remasters wont fit. The backs have no bracing so the tone is more subdued and quiet than those that have an opened back with bracing. The tone and quality is hard to beat though.
