Babyliss Silver Powerlite Dryer

Been looking everywhere for a replacement of my same brand old (10yrs?) dryer. After many, many searches this came up part way down a list. Same build and controls as my old one, hurray! Much more lightweight though. In fact lighter than other lightweight dryers I've tried. Not quite as powerful as my old one but almost and powerful enough. Don't need a full jet blast to dry hair, don't mind it taking a couple of minutes longer, better for the hair. Great dryer. Thinking of buying another as a backup.

First of all this is the first review I have ever written, but I thought I could maybe help someone else to finally find a product that works well.I have thick shoulder length hair that I don't want blasted off my head with a hair dryer that is so powerful you just end up with a head full of frizz.This is powerful but so easy to manage, it isn't too hot, again another problem I have had were you have to hold the dryer a foot away to save whatis left of your hair. It is quiet and light, with a good flex length, and if that isn't enough it actually does what it says on the tin and gives you asleek salon blow dry with no frizz at all. I would buy it again in a heart beat, the best hairdryer I have tried, and believe me I tried a lot.

I have had this hairdryer for over 3 years now and really love it. It still looks great.I bought mainly because of it being lightweight. (I have found other hairdryers to be quite heavy and your arm really aches after styling for a while). It's also a nice size, approximately 26cm tall and 21cm long (without the nozzle). The lead is also a generous length of over 2 metres.I don't find the position of the buttons to be an issue. They only thing I would say is that the cool button feature is "okay" but doesn't get much cooler when you press it. Although I don't fully understand the ionic technology, i haven't found this hairdryer damaging to my hair, compared to other products.Overall, a really nice hairdryer.

Bought this after researching for a reasonably priced quiet hairdryer. Its is not quiet, just as noisy as my last one. Could have had a far cheaper one if noise issue was not taken into account. Does the job though. However, it is very light to hold.

Good value for money

Sadly I was hoping not to leave a negative review, but I have been messaging with no reply since the 8th June, this hairdryer has not lasted more than 3 months,

Brilliant powerful but light weight hair dryer.

Despite it feeling fairly plasticky, I initially liked this hairdryer. It is a very lightweight and does the job. However, the rear filter cover is attached by 3 flimsy little clips and very quickly two of them snapped off in normal use. Now the filter cover won't stay on. I contacted Babyliss and they'll happily sell me a spare for £2, but charge £4 to post it (royal mail costs 79p). So beware, it is cheaply made, and if anything on it breaks Babyliss it starts to get expensive to repair.
