Dougie must have done some amount of research to make this book, he’s done a tremendous job. Much appreciated from all local people giving us such accurate and in depth history on our little town.

Love reading about the town I grew up in , I New a lot of the historical details ,but this have a great deal more , Would have loved read more, about Linwood's hay days 1960's - 1980's

This was a fabulous read for me, seeing the old photographs and maps of Linwood, it was well written and though I was aware of most of the history of Linwood from my mothers knee, there was a lot that I wasn't aware of, this book went all the way back to the beginning of when it all began, thanks to Dougie and his love of Linwood.

This book has been very informative of where I came from .very well written and brought back so many memories.great read.

Just finished reading this great little book about the town where I grew up.You can tell it has been a real Labour of Love for the author, Dougie Ross.Full of loads of familiar places but also things I simply didn't know until reading the book.
