Muy buena compra, adquirí 4 discos de 15 hace un año y aunque los dejo a la interperie (sol y lluvia) sigue conservando muy buena calidad en cuanto a materiales ya que no he visto oxidación ni deformación. El anillo de acero es limpio y adecuado. . El material es sueva por fuera pero rígido, en general son bonitos estéticamente y de un tamaño ideal para ser cargados con las manos. Cuando te llegan huelen mucho a petróleo pero eso da la seguridad que están recién salidos y hechos. Excelentes.

Great plates and got them at a sale price. Only downside is the smell which takes a few weeks to dissipate but after a month, a light smell lingers. To me, a burnt rubber or dirty ashtray smell. Too cold and snowy to put outside. But, I expected this from reading other reviews. Put an air cleaner in the room with them. Did not stop me from ordering another pair this week.

Great set of weight plates. For this price, I expected the quality to be far lower. However, the lettering is clear and crisp. Those complaining of the smell have never been to a commercial gym or a tire shop before - I stuck them straight in my basement and the small is not an issue. Even my wife, who has a sense of small that surely comes close to that of a dog, has not complained about any smell. Others commented on the plates being greasy, but that was not my experience at all. Perhaps this will be different on subsequent orders, who knows? I have not weighed them to verify the accuracy but don't care that much about it. It's definitely within +-0.5 lbs just by feel, and I suspect even better than that based on previous reviews. The CAP economy bumper plates are the only ones you'll find around this part of the web for 1.50CAD/lb or less. I can't even find 2" solid iron plates that cheap locally. I recently bought 1" iron plates for pulley exercises that were more expensive than that, averaging about 1.57CAD/lb before tax.
