Hot flashes , night sweats, menopause , I have all of the above. I actually got cold using this the first time . I have purchased the really expensive Buffy sheets , down comforter, but nothing compares. The “pillow” is always cold . I don’t put it under my pillow case , just sleep with it on top of my pillow . It’s amazing. Price point is great , and I can sleep soundly again . Highly recommend for anyone with hot flashes !

This does work, however, I wake up in the morning with the insert all bunched up.

The only reasons I gave it a straight 3 review, are that they're kind of cheaply made and don't last long.I think an upgrade is in order. Perhaps a little more sturdy? Make the plug actually SEAL, as in a screw-in plug that has silicone around it to prevent spilling and oozing of the water, otherwise I think they're just the bomb. I bought 2 this time because they're becoming scarce.It's a superb concept, and if you take good care of them and follow instructions they'll last a lot longer.

Started leaking water after only the first night, soaked my whole bed. It stayed cool and was very nice until I couldn’t use it anymore. Not impressed.

Love this Chillow! Stays cool throughout the night. My only complaint is that when it gets bunched up, which it will, it is such a nuisance to get it unbunched. The directions say to add water and massage till it gets back into shape but that doesn't always work. I am ordering another one. This one I will use clips on the edges to hold the inner material in place. The clips will be on the top and side edges only. We'll see how that works out...

Looked for an ice pack that would stay cool for long periods of time and was soft enough to rest head on pillow. Soft yes, cold enough, no.

Is the re-invention of the wheel? No. It's simply a cooling pad to possibly give you comfort while you rest/sleep. I love this thing! I followed the instructions, and was patient with the set-up process. It looks like it should 'as on TV', and it feels amazing! It is actually so cool (without refrigeration), that I had to put it in a pillow case, and I am VERY hot natured, and need a cool source to sleep well. I would buy this again. Thank you!

This is my second of these I have gotten (my first sprung leaks at the outer seam and leaked all over my pillow and bed). So far I’ve only had one mishap with it, I was sliding it around on top my pillow and accidentally caught my finger on the cap and accidentally popped it open so it spilled water and I didn’t try to refill it so it’s getting warm by morning but while it was filled properly it warmer but not uncomfortably warm but now as under filled it does get fairly warm
