Seems like a good piece.

The inside conical seals in the cutting head displayed a copper deposit such as after getting fitted with a cutting tip, even though no cutting tip came with the equipment purchased. Likewise, the conical seal surfaces on the Type-B (9/16") gas connectors at the base of the torch handle displayed burnished and sooty (!) depositions from prior use and possible misuse. The top end of the torch handle was not flush to the brass hand-hold piece, looking that it was either not torqued fully, or mis-threaded somehow and never making it fully threaded, or had been unscrewed from the torch body and not restored correctly. Easily a 1/8" gap, (visualize a cable shiner between insulation and crimp lug...) There was debris and stains on various parts of the torch handle that if new, should never pass inspection. Since ESAB/VICTOR equipment is so prevalent, it seems odd to encounter a tool with multiple defects. Returned immediately. Refunded.
