Poseidon M60 Boom (2025 Model) - Met expectation
The box comes with: 2 x soundbar (join them together to become one), subwoofer, 1.5m HDMI cable, UK power adapter, wall mounting kit, instructions, remote control BUT NO 2 x AAA battery for the remote (which is kind of odd). Anyway, setup was easy. Join the soundbar, plug in the subwoofer, HDMI cable & power. The other side of HDMI cable goes to the TV's HDMI ARC socket. On modern TV, it will recognise the soundbar and promote you to setup right away. On audiophile ears, I would say the sound bar performed fairly well. Dialogs were clear. Bass was heavy. Certainly a noticeable upgrade from the few watt speakers inside the TV. Music wise, not so good with average mid and high. Perhaps its because the sound bar tries to turn the music into surround sound? For a price tag of around 100 quid, it did okay. There are equalizers in the app to address this, but too bad I bought this for my girlfriend, so never hand a chance to play with it. Besides, music alone was not its main purpose. For volume, we never went pass 20% as my other half doesn't like sounds too loud. For a 5m by 5m living room, it will definitely be enough. As for the surround sound effect... Sad to say, it is very much non-existence. Perhaps its is due to the limitation of speaker distances and the absent of rear speakers. I mean, if you sat close to the sound bar, you might hear it. But at a distance of 2-3 meters away from the Television, the differences of Left / Centre / Right becomes difficult to tell. Never mind the virtual rears. Overall, I think the sound bar perform exceptionally well without melting my wallet. There are a few models from Ultimea that tries to address the surround sound issue: U2603, U2624, U4123 & U4124. However, I do not trust wireless when it comes to sound. Then going for AV Centre (besides 3x the cost), running wires around a picky girl friend's living room is also asking for trouble (she loves clean & tidy). This makes M60 Boom a perfect choice.

If you're looking for a new simple fully featured soundbar, get this.
This is a review of Model: U3120 - ULTIMEA Poseidon M40. A very good soundbar, new for 2026 and would recommend this for its budget price. Easy to set up and place the subwoofer anywhere in the room, as it's wireless. I didn't mind if it was wired, as I have mine behind the TV and have had no connection dropouts. My TV has eArc, and this model supports eArc. Connected via HDMI, and the TV registers it on its input. It can also connect to USB, optical and Bluetooth. Pairs without a flaw to phone. Download the ULTIMEA app, make sure the soundbar is switched on, and click add in the app; it will find the soundbar. It asked to update the firmware from version 9 to 10. I first tested out the soundbar before updating, and once I was happy went ahead with it, and it took around 15 minutes. You can set up the sound features with the remote or the app, and everything will display on the app. I leave the equaliser to movie and max out the bass. As expected, you won't hear much bass on normal TV as it's mostly dialogue, but if I play music on YouTube or Spotify, I can hear the bass fill the room. Very impressed with the sound quality as compared to another soundbar, which I bought but returned because of issues with HDMI ARC. Still have to test a movie with Dolby Atmos, but I'm sure I won't be disappointed. It's not too big and sits perfectly under the TV. Ultimate has a good range of soundbars from the high end to the low. Some are discontinued. I was looking for the M60 and didn't find it here, but I think overall, this newest model, for all the features, is just as good.

It’s a good product
The sounds bar works well and was quite easy to setup. Wall mounted my one and it looks nice once in place. The sound quality is good and the built in woofer is quite punchy. Overall I am satisfied with the device for the price.

Really good piece of audio equipment if you are looking for good value then this is it!
was completely fed up of standalone speakers for my Mac and the poor quality of what (I thought) was a decent pair out of a well known electronic shop, I decided to give Ultimea a try. Already owning the entry level surround system for my main TV, I bought the 2.1 channel system to replace what I had plugged in to my Mac setup. Ok - first impressions, neat little unit offering USB, Bluetooth, Optical and aux cable inputs and an app to help you fine tune the audio to your liking. You can wall mount or as in my case, sling it under my monitor and still have access to the on unit controls - Plugged in and working straight out of the box - Initially connected via the supplied 3.5mm cable - no issues - Decided nah that's one too many wires - bluetooth connection to the Mac was pretty instant. Sound quality, ok I'm a bit of an audiophile so to say I was surprised is an understatement. - Crisp high notes (could be a litter crisper for my liking but I'm not complaining. - A decently punchy bass out of the sub. - A pretty decent dynamic sound - actually better stereo effect than the two stand alone speakers it replaced. Sometimes almost surround sound like if you are sitting in the right spot. - Ok this thing isn't massive but jeez it's got some power - haven't dared go full blast with it yet as I actually quite like my neighbours. definitely giving this 5/5 on value, styling, connectivity, sound quality and general ease of use - pretty darn decent bit of kit for the money. If all you are doing is replacing a speaker system for a pc or don't have a lot of room for a full 5.1 speaker kit, would definitely recommend.

Amazing System Great Price
I had similar system same make which cost a lot more. This system was half the cost and is superior than old one. Delivered same day. It was very easy to set up get speakers in position plug in and small speaker connected and paired within seconds. Quality sound with different settings for whatever your watching ie sport movies etc I highly recommend this item top quality at very cheap price. Plus same day delivery if you order it early enough.

EXCELLENT VALUE
The ULTIMEA 5.1 Surround Sound System offers a surprisingly full home-theater experience at a budget-friendly price. Its setup includes a compact main soundbar, a wireless subwoofer, and two rear satellite speakers — a true “5.1” configuration that aims to bring immersive surround sound to your living room without the complexity (or cost) of a high-end receiver system. Sound Quality Immersion & Surround: For its price point, the system does a solid job creating a sense of directionality. The rear speakers add real spatial effects in movies, especially during action scenes, making it feel more cinematic. Bass: The subwoofer is powerful and delivers decent low-end punch. Thanks to ULTIMEA’s “BassMAX” tech, the lows feel controlled and not overly boomy — great for explosions and deep rumble without dominating the rest of the mix. Clarity & Dialogue: Vocals and dialogue are generally clear, particularly in the dedicated “Dialogue” mode. The mid-range is decent, though some users note a bit of a tinny or thin quality when turned up very high. Atmos / Surround Processing: While marketed with “Atmos” processing on some versions, it’s important to be realistic: there are no up-firing speakers, so it doesn’t deliver true 3D height effects like a dedicated Dolby Atmos system. Some of the surround comes from ULTIMEA’s algorithm (e.g. “SurroundX”) which transforms stereo input to a 5.1 feel. Build & Design The soundbar and rear speakers have a no-frills, functional design. Nothing too flashy, but they’re compact enough to fit under or beside a TV without dominating the space. The subwoofers shape means it can be tucked beside a piece of furniture. Setup is straightforward. According to the manufacturer, it supports simple plug-and-play connections for HDMI ARC, optical, RCA. There is an app that gives you EQ controls and several preset sound matrices, making it flexible for different content. Connectivity HDMI eARC / ARC for high-quality audio and ease of use with modern TVs. Bluetooth (5.3) for wireless music streaming. Wired options: optical in, 3.5 mm, RCA — gives versatility depending on your gear. Power & wiring: The rear speakers connect via wired connection to the subwoofer. uk.whatgeek Pros Excellent value: For a full 5.1 system, this is much more affordable than many comparable surround setups. Real surround experience: Unlike many “soundbars + virtual surround,” this gives you discrete rear speakers. Flexible EQ and app control: Ability to tailor sound to your preferences. Good bass: Subwoofer delivers solid lows without being overbearing. Relatively easy setup: No need for a full AV receiver; simpler to get going. Given the price, quality control can vary — some users suggest checking early and keeping the return window open. Use Case & Suitability This system is best suited for: Budget-conscious home cinema users who want legitimate surround sound without spending on a full AV receiver setup. Living rooms or small-to-medium sized rooms (ULTIMEA recommends around 20–35 m² for their 5.1 systems). Ultimea Gaming setups: The 5.1 surround provides a good spatial audio experience for games. Movie watching: Especially effective for cinematic content that benefits from surround effects. Overall Verdict The ULTIMEA 5.1 Surround Sound/System (Poseidon D50) is a seriously good value proposition for anyone stepping up from TV speakers but not ready (or willing) to invest in a full AV setup. It doesn’t match high-end systems in terms of refinement or raw power, but its real surround speaker setup, decent subwoofer, and flexible EQ make it a very compelling option for budget home theater.

Top quality sound. Brilliant purchase
Purchased this speaker after lots of searching, as only wanted something under £50 for our summer house. Super impressed by the sound quality, and for under £50 a fantastic purchase. Very impressed. Easy to set up - I’m connected to our sky q mini box via optical cable & have YouTube, Spotify etc but Bluetooth works a treat too. Easy to mount with the fittings in the box, should you wish.

TV soundbar with subwoofer
I'd been looking for ages about buying a sound system to enhance the sound from my TV and be pretty easy to set up, I'm not great at tech stuff! Suggestions from friends, reviews and costs decided it for me to take the plunge. The instructions were not great or that could be me, but it was wireless, which was a plus. I went online and put in the search engine, how to set up and really easy. Sat with anticipation and wow, brilliant sound, with options for extra bass, treble, options for what's on TV. Its excellent. Great sound and without question, value for money. Very impressed and recommend

What a blast !
I'm very happy with the product, it performs very well for the price. A few things to note: 1) My old system would turn on with the tv, this dose not. I have to turn it on manually. Although no Biggy, it is annoying. 2) It came fitted with UK plugs. For an Australian its troublesome. But I find it works great. The sound is good - esp. with the 5.1 cannels - and it suits our small lounge. I'd defiantly buy it again!
