I think the idea of a portable train set is very interesting as it can be used anywhere play dates, on holiday, restaurants and more. The build quality is about as good as it can be though the two latches could be better, the print quality looks clear and fairly detailed. I do like that all the pieces can be easily stored within platform itself and that it can be carried like a little briefcase.Overall I think the train set deserve a solid recommendation.

I've got this for my nephew and he was really happy with it.This is a take-along play set, really nicely made with a well painted, colourfull and atractive design.Some of the best features of this toy set is that all pieces can easily fit in the wooden case which has clips to hold it close for safe storage or take-away and the fact that the train and the carriages attach together via magnets is absolutelly an fantastic idea for a safe and easy play, perfectly designed for the age.It's a fantastic wooden toy set and I believe that those are some of the best toys you can get for a toddler as they are interactive and most important safe to play.Good price too considering what you get and the quality of it. Very happy with it and the recipient too.

This is a well made, colourful playset which is good value for money. The wooden grooved track makes it easy for the train and carriages to be moved along which connect via magnets. The play scene is on top of the wooden box.It is based around a funfair theme so you get some stalls, a helter skelter, a carousel, and popcorn cart as well as the train and 2 carriages. Each piece came individually wrapped inside the box.The box itself is sturdy and has reasonable fixings to keep it secure as well as carry handles. Ideal for a little one to take on a play date, to grandparents or on their holidays.Great set at a great price. Hope this helps .....

This toy is SUCH a good idea - a little train with a real grooved track running around an amusement park. It comes with more than a few rides and people to decorate and populate the scene.But WHY OH WHY are the words "AMUSEMENT PARK" printed on the "grass"?It just looks so weird and awkward!If the designers had just given the scene a cute name it would look so much better.Nevertheless, the toy is a good one. I love that all the bits can be packed away inside the wooden scene itself. The "box" latches closed with two metal buckles (they could be a BIT sturdier) and is completely portable with thick string handles.It's a great little kit to play with - WITH your child: "What's the name of the train?", "What ride should the people go on first?", etc...Oh - and other little figures can be popped in the box as well to make the park even more crowded.So close to perfect!
