Just keep in mind 1" Adapters Cost 11+ Each
Just keep in mind 1" Adapters Cost 11+ Each and the Depot doesn't sell them usually. Used Post Water Softener + Post 15 Micron mesh filter. This setup does reduce water pressure somewhat; if you have a setup where you can increase the water pressure a little that will help re-normalize the pressure. If you don't have a 3/4" hot water feed, your water pressure will take a significant hit especially as the filter gets clogged over time. I use a 1 - 25 micron gradient water filter in this unit. If you have a 1/2" hot water feed, I would probably go with just one 10 micron filter to minimize water pressure drop; unfortunately most of the crap falls between 0.5 microns to 10 microns so....

Seal surface areas are poorly finished
So I read that these leak and are nothing but issues. But I couldn’t resist due to the price compared to other brands. I bought 6 of the 4.5x10” versions and figured people just weren’t really that knowledgeable on pluming. Let me tell you they definitely leak. The lower portion that holds the filter has a very small indent that’s supposed to hold the o-ring and the head unit where the o-ring seals against is not flat finished so the basic supplied o-ring really need to be squeezed super super tight inorder to get it to seal. Also the lip is not substantial enough to hold the o-ring in place so you must be very careful. One came with silicon grease so I applied it to all the orings to help hold them in place. even then you may find for the first few days it’s leak free to later find your basement floor covered in water because it decided to leak again. I’m going to try a silicone type o-ring (softer material) and see if it seals the imperfect surface better. The filter assembly is only rated for 75psi and 100psi max. My system is 55psi from the well and 75 psi from the internal pump. In order to tighten them I had one guy hold the fixture while I used a 30” ratchet to tighten it on TIGHT AS I COULD. As of now the leaks have stopped but I don’t trust it.Pro; definitely made of solid material and looks as though there’s a spot for a pressure gauge if you drill and tap it.
