Drill America 9/64" Quick Change Cobalt Drill Bit with Hex Shank, COHEX Series

I like that the hex shank snaps in to impact drivers, and works well enough. Maybe not as sharp as some of my other bits, but it did the job.

Cobalt set that works as promised in my driver. I needed these for a project and they helped get it done in a jiffy with the quick change.

I ordered the 3-set, which comes with the smaller 1/8, 3/16, and 1/4-inch bits. I do a little luthier work, so the 1/8 and 1/4-inch bits are useful, and these drill bits cut through wood well.

This is a nice little set of drill bits with some useful sizes. I had ordered this to replace an older 1/8" bit that broke. I'm not using these too often, but it's nice to have a full set when you need it.The bits seem sturdy and work well with my cordless drill.

I’m not sure what exactly this bit is supposed to be for, but on contact with metal is just completely destroyed itself. The bit removed pieces of itself before it removed any metal from what I was drilling.

This set of three most commonly used bit diameters is a good addition for a DIY enthusiast. We've all been in situations where we wished we had a quick change drill bit on hand, to quickly get a small job done with just an impact driver. Well, this is the set to have for those occasions: the bits are of pretty good quality, and should hold up reasonably well. I would not expect to use these to drill 1/4" holes in stainless steel for hours at a time, but that's where you would use proper equipment, and not Quick Change mounted drill bits.In short - if you think this looks like a useful set to keep in your toolbox, just go ahead and get it.

Got package in mail and opened it and drill was broken !!

Good quality set of drills. Nothing like a fresh drill bit to get the job done. I did a quick test of one bit to see how it coped with metal and it passed with flying colors. I marked a few spots and started drilling without first creating a dimple for the drill to fall into. The bit did great! hardly any wandering as far as I could see. See the photo, the hole on the left was the only one that I created a starter point for the bit. The others were just clean metal. Anything that looks off center is probably due to me not getting it right at the cross hairs rather than the bit wandering.
