"High Performance Team Coaching (HPTC) is a fantastic resource and a 'must read' for all Team Leaders and Coaches. The authors demystify the concepts of creating and sustaining high performance teams and how to lead and coach them. Built upon solid research and investigation along with practical and relevant action steps, it is a resource that will help move your team from average or good, to high performance in any context." - Lillas Marie Hatala and Richard Hatala, Co-authors of Integrative Leadership: Building a Foundation for Personal, Interpersonal, and Organizational Success "With a combination of systematic field research and an intense scrutiny of the literature, Peters and Carr have developed a system of high performance team coaching that is fit-for-purpose and accessible for practitioners but with an appropriate and transparent evidence base. It provides the framework and underpinning that will allow this much needed [team coaching] modality to achieve its potential." - Dr. Annette Fillery-Travis, M/DProf Programme Coordinator, Middlesex University Member of the Steering Group of the International Centre for the Study of Coaching "High Performance Team Coaching advances the field of coaching by filling the gap for a practical, yet thoroughly evidence-based model to guide team coaching practice. Drawing on the authors' considerable experience and their recent empirical research this clearly written, well-documented text provides actionable guidelines and practical strategies for working with teams and makes a genuine and important contribution to the field." - Dr. Elaine Cox, Editor: International Journal of Evidence Based Coaching and Mentoring Director of Postgraduate Coaching & Mentoring Programmes, Oxford Brookes University Review: Amazing simples and dinamic - A excellent book, pratical and objetive Review: A reassuring and practical book on HPTC - This book outlines the extensive research the authors have conducted on the subject of Team Coaching. They immediately admit that there is a dearth of study and books written on the subject. I loved their honest acknowledgement of work by other authors including Peter Hawkins, Wageman, Nunes, Burruss and Hackman. They rely on this great research and produce a model for Team Coaching that makes perfect sense. To my mind team coaching is a mix of Consulting, Facilitation, Coaching and Mentoring and trying to fix pure coaching approach to this practice is limiting. The arena is complex. The authors are very generous in the sharing they include within the book. Buy it this book, if you are like me and offering Team Coaching as part of your offer. Excellent and an easy read.

Excellent Framework and Resource on Team Coaching!
A really concise, systematic and integrated framework on team coaching! This short book provided me with a concrete framework and model for organizing a lot of what I knew about team coaching into a practical system. This is the first book that I have come across that provides a roadmap for the stages and phases of team coaching. I'll be using this as a framework in my future engagements for sure. Thank you for writing this great resource Drs. Peters & Carr!

Surviving Your Own Team
Only 1 of 5 teams is high performing, in part because team coaching has lacked a solid performance model—at least until now. High-performance coaching is systematic and focused on the collective talents, strengths, and goals of the organization. First, the authors define the critical difference between a group and a team. A team is complementary, committed and, especially, interdependent. And a high-performance team hits or exceeds organizational goals they set for themselves. The authors set out several key elements. I’d call them the Key 3s. Three fundamental steps for a team: Assess stakeholder expectations; put a plan in place; measure progress and results. Three critical drivers for success: Team structure, team launch, and team coaching. Three times for best coaching impact: The beginning, middle, and end. And finally, three critical outputs: Quality results, team capabilities and relationships, and individual engagement. Well done!
