The packaging of the Jasmine rice was about the only thing worth my time, the quality and texture of the rice when it was cooked was mealie mushy, and just undesirable. I would never buy this product again and would suggest you don’t either.

I have started using this pre-cooked frozen rice instead of rice that comes in a box. It is very convenient and very good. I highly recommend it.

This has been a lifesaver for quick meals in a pinch. Time is not always on my side for lunches or dinners and this lets me quickly make a grain bowl or a side dish when putting together a meal

I use this product regularly. Have yet to be disappointed in the final result, and has made for many a tasty, quick lunch paired with some of the microwavable curry pouches. The amount of rice is ample enough for 2-3 servings as a side in my experience.

So Amazon fresh needs to put into the product information a category for shelving or Storage. This is not a frozen product, or refrigerated product this is a pantry product! It is also packaged precooked. You can surmise from the description it is precooked but you have no concept that it is in a plastic bag and the food has been made to be shelf stable for years to come. Thus is has an odd flavor even though the packaging appears to be stating it is “organic”. Maybe it is the oil? The next bag I’ll see if I can rinse it off and make it taste better. I don’t have this issue with frozen rice and it takes just 1 minute to heat and serve.
