Wow-what a difference!! So glad we installed these. Love the warm/cool light adjustment.

Maybe too bright, I replaced an old led under cabinet strip that quit working, this one is have the size and twice the lumens. The slide screw mounting is ok, but with my location I had to have to case back together so it can slide back off if bumped. The quick connect wire splice is nice. The strain relief is good but larger than the light housing, so I had to bend the screw for a flush fit. I like the mode selector to allow you to pick what level works the best for each application.

The 6–inch light is smaller than the T5F8 that it replaced but appears twice as bright. Having the ability to choose between 3 different temperatures opens up more possibilities than with a fluorescent light. It’s also more efficient.Even though the LED driver is much smaller than the ballast mechanism, there just isn’t enough room inside the 6-inch light. It took quite a bit of effort to cram all the wires inside so that I could close the cover. That is the part that made installation more difficult than it would have been. Therefore, unless space is limited, I would opt for at least a 12-inch light. The wires have pre installed push connections which helped since twist connectors would not have fit.

This is a very nice, hard wired, water resistant, light fixture made for the kitchen or bathroom.Be sure you know how to turn off the power before attempting to do wiring...or hire an electrician.
