The bed bug killer powder is working as expected, so the product is as advertised. We are using this powder in conjunction with bed bug killer capsules/traps that are placed under mattress and it works perfectly. Recommended.

The media could not be loaded. What a waste of money. I trusted the previous reviews about this but I don't know how the managed to say its working , you could check the video attached , that's after me leaving the powder for more than 2 hours to see the bug casually wondering about. Don't waste your money.

I ordered this Permethrin-based powder from the Ready Steady Defend Store, which is marketed as a solution to bed bugs. I'll start by saying I don't think we have bed bugs, but after coming back from holidays with some red spots and reading some similar reviews of our accommodation later, I wanted to give a quick blast just in case.The powder contains PERMETHRIN TECHNICAL 25/75 (52645-53-1), which you will note is the same active ingredient as is in the company's dust mite powder. Permethrin is used widely as an insecticide for other bugs also, such as moths, and also mosquitos (it is manufactured into mosquito nexts for example).This ingredient is licenses as safe to use by governments etc however do not that it is labelled as very toxic to aquatic life (cover yer fish bowls!) , and there are a few question marks over allergies and other health questions if you research. That said if you have bed bugs, what are you going to do? So there is a balance to be found.I find this quite messy to use in comparison to a spray etc. However you have the benefit of being able to see the it has landed in the appropriate place and see when you have vacuumed it back up correctly two hours later. I'd air the room afterwards. I actually used it the morning before we went away for a night and vaccuumed upon our return... hope we didn't have any many legged stowaways from THIS trip!

I ordered this Ready Set Defend Bedbug Powder as it consists of plant based products and appears to be one of the most effective brands on the market.We used the powder as soon as it arrived in my young nieces newly rented bedsit. The poor girl only moved in 10 days ago and very quickly discovered she had a problem with bedbugs.My sister and I went to help her apply the powder, we moved her out for a couple of days, washed all of her bedding and sprinkled the powder absolutely everywhere in her small room, focusing on her mattress and all of the cracks and crevices in her bedroom.
