I bought this for my grandpa with dementia. He kept hiding his TV remote insisting that someone stole it but no one did. He was just hiding it from himself. He was hiding it to keep it from being stolen but would then forget where he hid it and assume it was stolen. He had many meltdowns over his "stolen" remote. I used this product to attach the remote to his side table. I have the other end on the bottom of the side table so it won't damage anywhere that can be seen. It has worked great. No more meltdowns over the TV remote. It has lasted 8 months so far attached to his side table. Would definitely recommend it to use with those with dementia who like to hide things.

My wonderful husband was always losing the remote in our bedroom. In the covers, behind the bed, in the bathroom, in the living room, everywhere. Now it is attached to our headboard and sits on the ledge and has not been lost since. It is very sticky but our remote is curved so it doesn’t sit flat on the remote but that’s the only thing I would change is make the remote attachment bendable/adjustable. If our remote was any smaller it would be too big.

Perfect solution for a relative in the nursing home who is not mobile. We could never seem to find the remote. My relative doesn't use a remote, so I needed a solution to make sure it's never lost again. It work! now I just need to lock the remote so no one changes the channel... Topic for a different product review. If you have a family member in a nursing home, you might understand.

LOVE the idea of these but I literally had to scotch tape the remotes for them to stick lol.

Good product. Only problem I had was the cable pulled out of the teather block but it was a simple repair with some superglue. Still recommend

I thought it would be thicker and would retract more. The reason I got it was to keep the remote from hitting the tile floor when it gets knocked off the bed or nightstand. But it's so thin that the weight of the remote itself stretches the thing out...So this was an overpriced, waste of money

My mother with dementia kept hiding the remote until she finally put it somewhere we can't find. So I got a new remote and this cord so she can't hide it anymore.Adhered fine and cord is long enough to reach between the chair and end table.

I used this to stop people walking off with the remote. Mounted on a painted metal surface and plastic. Note, use the alcohol swabs to wipe the surfaces so that the adhesive sticks! Otherwise, great. I twist the remote to disengage from the Velcro joining pads so as not to exert too much force on the adhesive pads.

Works great for my friend with Dementia.
