I have had problems setting up other smart bulbs, but this one was increadibly easy. They have a convenient removable QR tag at the top of the bulb. Connect the bulb, and turn it on. Point your cell phone camera at the QR tag, and it just works. Whoever designed this is riffing on the Steve Jobs maxim that smart products need to intuitively work. No fuss. No hassle. Just work. Enough about setup. These bulbs have the usual features of adjustable colors using any of some four different menus and are of course dimmable. They produce 800 lumens which is roughly equivalent to a 60 watt tungsten bulb. Selectable color temperature is a big advantage of LED lightbulbs as you can adjust the color temperature to specific use.

I've been using these bulbs for a few months now, and they're solid. There were a few connectivity issues at the start but they stopped a couple days in. They're very bright, so a great choice for a main lamp. Perhaps not so great for a bedside lamp though, because the the lowest brightness level is still pretty bright. Overall, a solid choice, and if you get this for a main lamp that you're never going to set at 10% brightness, I would buy it again.

I didn't realize this product has a label of "Frequently returned item", and with a lot of reason. I bought this item but was so difficult trying to connect to Apple Home, which was my first option and never get to do it succesfully, then tried with Google Home and was the same thing, never get to connect it, and for my surprise they don't have a website or a number to ask for assistance. Had to return it.

I have a few smart home items that I use and what I like about them is not having to pay any attention to turning lights off and on or signing in and signing up and connecting and reconnecting... but these just don't do that for me. I spent so much time trying to get the right apps and sign into accounts only to have them not do anything so I eventually just gave up. I already have to jump through a million hoops everyday, I'm not doing that for a light bulb.

These bulbs are perfect! A nice softamber-ish light - enough to see but not feel like a deer in the head lights!These also worked in a covered outdoor lamp fixture, that many other dusk to dawn lights wouldn’t work with.I screwed it in and turned it on without any problems for days now.Exactly what I wanted!
