Fonts are way too small, totally unreadable
I know I did not pay much for this, but there is absolutely no point buying the book as the fonts are way too small, and the book cannot be read without a magnifying glass.

Wonderful Experience!!
Although this book isn't sectioned into chapters and versus like the newer editions, it is just as inspiring. It's quite an experience to think that it remains in the format the Joseph Smith originally translated it to. If your not familiar with the Book of Mormon, I urge you to read it and pray to learn of it's veracity for yourself.

What do you know about the Book of Mormon??
I want to share with you my feelings about this great book. For most of my life I have been able to more fully appreciate the love the Savior has for me by reading the Book of Mormon and the Bible. The Old Testament, New Testament and Book of Mormon is a library of God’s dealings with holy prophets that believed in Him and wrote their testimonies about Him to help others. The Book of Mormon is a record of the ancient people of the Americas that had the gospel of Jesus Christ just as the ancient Israelites that accepted Jehovah in the Old Testament and Jesus in the New Testament. One of my favorite passages is in 3 Nephi chapters 11-19, where the resurrected Lord appears to the people and teaches His gospel. Compare Jesus’ sermon on the mount (in St. Matthew). The Book of Mormon is a book of holy scripture that as you read, you will be able to feel the influence of God’s Holy Spirit testifying of its truthfulness. If you are sensitive to the Holy Spirit, He can tell you the truth of all things through honest and sincere study and prayer. There is a special peace and happiness in my life that comes from studying the life and ministry of Jesus Christ and His prophets. This book is filled with amazing stories that I hope you can benefit from just as I have.Feast upon the words contained in the Book of Mormon and Bible and they will guide you in all things what you should do in life. I have received many answers to prayers after asking God for help and then reading the Book of Mormon immediatly afterwards. The Book of Mormon also contains this wonderful promise to know of its truthfulness. (See Moroni 10, verses 3-5). If you read and pray about this book, in the name of Christ, God will make the truth of the book known to you through His Holy Spirit. You’ve heard the scripture, “Ask and you shall receive, knock and it shall be opened unto you.” It really works. I have tried it and you can too.May your life be filled with the peace and love and joy through Jesus Christ, is my sincere desire for you and your family.Sincerely,Dennis E. Hanks

Book of Mormon
The information provided list Joseph Smith as the Author. He is the Translator of the information contained in this book. The introduction details how the Golden Plates from which the transalation was taken, came into his possesion and the coming forth of the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon was abridged by Mormon and Moroni his Son from records kept by the Ancient American inhabitats. These were Ancient Prophets on the American Continent. Mormon lived between from 310 AD to about 385 AD. Moroni concluded the writings in the book after his fathers death with the last entry in the book in 421 AD. The book tell of the departure of Lehi and his Family from Jeruselem in 600 BC and their trials as they were guided across the ocean to the American Continent. It tells of the family spliting into 2 different groups, the Nephites and the Lamanites. The first being the followers of Christ and second choosing not to follow the teaching of Christ. Throughout the Book of Mormon it teachs about Christ's dealings with the people of the American continent and of his personal visit to the people living here after his crusifiction in Jeruselem. The book offers great insight into the people that lived on this continent and the things they knew about Jesus Christ and his gospel. It is great reading and offeres the world at second witness to the reality of Jesus Christ and his mission. Please read and you will understand more. If you have questions, contact your local Missionaries from the Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

This print edition makes reading the Book of Mormon an easier experience
I purchased this version of the Book of Mormon because of the print format. The book is formatted just like a normal novel in that it is book-like as opposed to bible-like. The text is larger, easier to read and not in column format. Additionally, the pages are of average book thickness as opposed to the rice paper bibles are normally printed on. However, there are no verse numbers like in a traditional print version.I purchased this edition because I was tired of the tiny print and thin paper of the copy that the missionaries gave me, and wanted something more substantial and easier to read. I highly recommend this edition for anyone else who is tired of tinier than tiny print and thin pages. The book is average novel size and about an inch and a half thick.I am not going to comment on the text itself, because it seems that everyone else has already done that, and when I was looking for a review, I wanted to know about the format of the book as opposed to the content. However, that cannot stop me from commenting on the people who have reviewed the book and essentially trashed the Mormon religion. I myself am not mormon, nor am I religious, however, I think it is important to study and understand all religions in an effort to reduce intolerance. So to those of you who have trashed the book and the religion, shame on your intolerance. Most religions and religious texts contain "facts" that are called into question, for example, virgin birth? Walking on water? If you don't agree with the Book of Mormon, great, you're entitled to that. But you aren't entitled to bash the religion and a book that I doubt most of you have even read. Take your opinions to someone who gives a darn and move on with your narrow minded life.
